Thanks everybody. I am humbled by the warm wishes. I apologize for not having the time to say much more right now, but I'm resting at a friend's house. Once more, I thank you humbly.

Graham, I think it's great that he's spending a few days with you, and well done for keeping it quiet - I was sure you'd blurt it out beforehand. I think I would. Did you get all those CD covers I sent you to get him to sign?
I've always found it odd to say 'happy birthday' to someone who will never see or get the greeting. I guess the closest is if you visit a baby's birthday, and you congratulate the parents instead.

Why is it odd? We celebrate the man and his music. So if he doesn't see it well so what???

Graham will show him this thread, don't you worry.

He's the man who got me into listening to soundtracks and I'm forever grateful. A living legend!
I was into soundtracks before JW's, but he's the one that cemented my passion and love for film scores. Happy Birthday Maestro! I wonder if he keeps his slacks off until a performance.
Whoa, whats with the CD in the top left corner? Thor is going to go bunkers!
He, he. Not really. I've had the SUGARLAND EXPRESS bootleg for decades!
Btw, I've also considered doing a spread like this, but I'd need the floor space, not just a table, and it's a lot of work. 200 CDs plus the odd item. One of these days....
