You know, Amicus Films was responsible for another hidden gem
called The City of the Dead (1960) also known as Horror Hotel.
Today it has achieved classic status. It was distinguished in part
by a highly unusual score -- unusual for Douglas Gamley -- that
included Gregorian chants. The film is worth watching and the
score is worth pursuing, especially if you like The House That
Dripped Blood.

Horror Hotel is a wonderful film - John Llewellyn Moxey directed it. Very atmospheric and a wonderful Gamley score.

Indeed it is a wonderful film, expertly and stylishly directed by Moxey his first time out.
I've studied his set-ups in the TV movies he directed.
The film is a lifelong favorite of mine.

$25 burns a hole in my pocket for the score on CD.

Perhaps Kritzerland can look into the score, find the tapes
and possibly release it.

Hear, hear. Kudos to Bruce (again) for releasing this fantastic score.

I agree about "Horror Hotel" Great horror film and score- foreshadows Jerry Goldsmith"s "Omen Trilogy"
Hoping Gamley's score can be released!!!
