I am curious why you are cheerleading this when you don't actually own any of the product.

I didn't know there were 24-bit downloads with their sets, and since I will be soon equiped, I am really interested.

By the way, all the people who are complaining here don't actually own any of the product.

Well, you don't know that, actually. And equipped for WHAT? A download. A three-year-old can download anything.

But when we on this side of the pond have a good release it seems people on the other side resent them. This is a real shame because these records and CD are GREAT!

Nothing to do with which side of the pond one is on. If someone wants to buy a pedal-powered bike, they don't want to be told they can't buy it unless they also buy ten gallons of petrol that they don't need.
The only difference which side of the pond one is on is that one side calls it petrol and the other calls it gas. Either way, it's the same bad deal.

Equiped with a 24-bit/DSD DAC.

No need to have one of these set to know that it's great to have a 24-bit download with them.

Indeed, anyone can download anything, anyone can even play 24-bit files on their computer, but unless you have rather high-end equipment to play these files -- not just a good DAC, but also very good speakers (with top diplexers) -- it makes no difference. smile

I have a rather high-end equipment to play such files and don't play music on my computer. smile

It's not just a DAC, but a all-in-one machine that will be directly connected to my amplifier.

I really cannot understand why people are so negative about these STYLOTONE releases
They are legitimate releases and are UK based. Both Khartoum and Twisted Nerve had very good production values and yes I bought them both has I will MARNIE when it is released in April. We collectors have for many years have been thankful for the labels in U.S.A, for their releases but it costs us in the UK big money to purchase them by time you add postage and custom charges and overseas transaction costs - you can be talking as much as £40 plus for just a single disc release. I have paid this gladly to get the things I want. But when we on this side of the pond have a good release it seems people on the other side resent them. This is a real shame because these records and CD are GREAT!

I heartedly concur. If I buy a 2cd set from LaLaland or Intrada then I wil pay $30 plus $17 postage which converts to £35 then you have to factor in Royal Mails outrageous charges of about £14 and that comes to almost £50. All of sudden Stylotone cost of £40 looks a bargain!
For the record I have both Stylotones previous releases and commend them. Frank Cordells Khartoum for instance does have additional music not included on previous release.

I will probably purchase this release and if I get it from Amazon then I'll get with free delivery.

Yep, US to EU postage has become really, really expensive... at Screen Archives it's like over 70 bucks for JUST the Superman Blue Box set, for example.

Stylophone was the electronic instrument made popular by convicted paedophile, Rolf Harris...

No bigger than a half-pound box of chocolates.
