Warner Archive announced today that it will add three new titles to its Blu-ray catalog: Frank Tashlin's The Glass Bottom Boat (1966), Jack Starrett's Cleopatra Jones (1973), and TV's Man from Atlantis (1977-1978). The three releases will be available for purchase in March.
The Glass Bottom Boat
Synopsis: Doris Day entered her eighth consecutive year as a top-10 box-office star when she boarded The Glass Bottom Boat, a hilarious blending of romantic comedy and the era's burgeoning spy-movie genre.
Day plays Jennifer, a girl Friday at a hush-hush aeronautics think tank. When colleagues suspect she's an espionage agent, Jennifer chaotically sets out to clear her name. Looney Tunes alumnus Frank Tashlin directs with a cartoonist's sensibility – or zany insensibility – embracing everything from spy guises to push-button chaos in a futuristic kitchen. With top comedians Arthur Godfrey, Paul Lynde, Edward Andrews, John McGiver, Dom DeLuise and Dick Martin in tow, The Glass Bottom Boat is loaded top to bottom with see-through fun.

Cleopatra Jones
Synopsis: A Turkish poppy field is torched -and a U.S. drug trafficker known as "Mommy" (Shelley Winters) is feeling pretty burned. She phones the local cops she owns and orders a retaliatory strike on an inner-city antidrug headquarters. Mommy's next call should be to 911. Because now she'll have to mess with Cleopatra Jones (Tamara Dobson).
Mommy is relentless in her vendetta – but Cleo responds with catlike karate stealth. (Bong So Hon, technical advisor on Billy Jack, supervised the karate sequences.) Doodlebug, Pickle, Snake and more of Mommy's offbeat stooges add glide to the story's stride. Their antics, Mommy's chortling sleaziness and Cleo's class shape the power and pizzazz of Cleopatra Jones.

Man from Atlantis
Synopsis: He's the lone survivor of a lost civilization...thrust into ours. A giant storm tosses ashore a being who is both human and a creature from the deep. Mark Harris is the name given to him by the astonished scientists who study and protect their remarkable find. Harris is equally astonished, a fish out of water eager to learn about us. Patrick Duffy (a year before beginning his legendary run on Dallas) plays the Atlantean in the origin movie that (along with three more films) preceded the cult classic Man from Atlantis TV series. In this adventure, Harris uses his amazing underwater abilities to save mankind from a madman's (Victor Buono) plot to launch missiles from all the world's nuclear submarines!

I'm not overly fond of this, but I'd definitely revisit it as a rental (impossible, I know). All I remember was Duffy's spastic swim.
