I knew of "The Monkees" even before I was aware of "The Beatles" when I was a small child.

Loved their songs and TV Show.

Rest In Peace Peter. Thank you for the laughs and your talent.

Shame. Loved their stuff as a very young kid.
Last train to clarksville was my fave record of Tork n co.
Used to enjoy the show and the band's larking around - loved that credit sequence when they ran into the sea then turned around and ran away! Funny.

Just Micky Dolenz & Michael Nesmith left now. I have a Monkees best of CD & it's very good, I used to enjoy the show back in the day, but I think I'd find it very annoying if I tried to watch it today.

I love the Monkees. I fondly remember the show and I have several of their CDs as well as the LISTEN TO THE BAND four CD box set.
