And yes, I would probably get it again? So there!

Interesting that so many people are including LPs, even though the OT specifies "bought on CD the most times".

Most people here are illiterate, or semi-literate!

BLACK RAIN, perhaps. First LP, then CD, then bootleg score CD and at last the La La Land 2CD.

Or, those who did specify LPs and CDs provided answers not just for the OT but had the foresight of providing already answers for logical follow up question that might occur. Seems rather farsighted.

STAR WARS & THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK; 6 times for both on cd, with 2 more each for vinyl...actually 3 more for EMPIRE, so it would win my most times to the well soundtrack.

If you do not count the LP release then I`ve only bought a soundtrack twice. First the original album, then the expanded edition. However if you also count the LP release then it has to be Jerry Goldsmith`s Link but that one is technically in the grey zone since one of the CD releases of this title was actually a gift (in the giftbag on one of the Fans of Film Music events so that might not count) but other than that title I can not say that I have bought one soundtrack more than two times. However if someone would release an expanded/complete release I would certainly buy that one too.

Gotta be THE BLUE MAX --> Varese --> Legacy --> Intrada --> LaLaLand --> Tadlow

WOW! I really do love this score.

Going through my soundtrack collector list and I've noticed a few other titles worth mentioning:

BERNARD HERRMANN:

NORTH BY NORTHWEST --> Varese LP --> Varese CD --> Unicorn CD --> RHINO --> Varese Club --> Intrada

VERTIGO --> Philips LP --> Mercury --> Varese (original tracks) --> Varese (re-recording)

THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL --> Fox --> Varese (re-recording) --> Kritzerland --> LALALAND (not counting Bernard Herrmann at 20th Century Fox)

JERRY GOLDSMITH

TOTAL RECALL --> Varese --> Varese (deluxe) --> Quartet

NIGHT CROSSING --> Intrada --> Intrada (expanded re-issue) --> Intrada (2014 re-issue)

POLTERGEIST II --> Intrada (30 min) --> Intrada expanded --> Varese (deluxe) --> Kritzerland (favorite) --> Intrada (3 CD)
