Watching some George Peppard movies, kinda liked the creepy spy soundtrack for this one. It's not incredible, but still prominent in a good way. Any reason it was never released?
Dunno. Many of Ron's score tapes exist with the estate - they just needed the money to put them thru the treatment process. I like the score. Sought it out after the theme appeared on Geoff Love suspense film themes compilation LP.
I wasnt sure if there was some other reason since this seems like something FSM would have done. I only have Intrada's Sir Gawain. All of their Goodwin titles have sold out, but that doesnt mean he's a goldmine for them.
It's an OK score. I could tell from the first couple of measures that it was Goodwin even before looking up the credits. There is also some striking modernist touches in later scenes.
