This is one of the films that IMO ushered in 70s cinema.
I believe it is the first film that used a funk groove for the opening titles. I started a thread on this topic years ago, and no one produced an earlier example, IIRC.
I'm no longer in a cable tier that gives me TCM. Question--are they running a better HD transfer than that fairly mediocre transfer on the old WB Blu-Ray? I was fairly disappointed in that one way back when.
