And I’ll add “Estasi Stellare” from Morricone’s The Humanoid, a soaring and beautifully elegiac anthem that should be better known.

Surprised no one mentioned this.

And of course
Moonraker
Right Stuff
Stargate
Stargate Atlantis
Capsule in Space from YOLT
Journey to the Far Side of the Sun aka Doppelgänger
Capricron One
UFO
Space 1999
Space Above and Beyond
Planet of the Apes opening titles
Battlestar Galactica TOS
Original Carl Sagan Cosmos
2010 New Worlds

And what I wouldn’t give to get
The Visitor TV Series
Starman TV Series
Genesis 2

I thought this subject was confined to "real space" scores and by "soar" scores that are thematic, bombastic and uplifting. Many scores listed are rather low key or atmospheric. And if this is just a list of favorite SciFi/Fantasy scores, then the list will get pretty big!
