There's my shame, perhaps my sin; at least, and in the sight of God, not my fault.

    What if.....

Basil Poledouris had scored THE LORD OF THE RINGS (The films he was born to do)

John Morgan had landed STAR TREK II

Christopher Young had scored DOCTOR STRANGE

Bernard Herrmann had scored THE SEVEN PERCENT SOLUTION

Barry Gray had scored THE DEEP

Basil Poledouris had scored DANCES WITH WOLVES

Henry Mancini had scored ED WOOD

Howard Shore had scored MARS ATTACKS

Alan Silvestri had scored AVENGERS-AGE OF ULTRON

Perhaps they did in an alternate timeline somewhere in the multiverse they did.

    Ah well

John Barry composed the theme and some episode scores to "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."'s first season? Jerry Goldsmith scored the first four James Bond films? Leonard Rosenman was asked to scored "Star Trek The Motion Picture"?

The board would be poorer for it.

I look forward to you saying the same about Goldsmith lovers. I'll even arrange for some grapes to be sent to your ward.

This is one I’ve always wondered about...

What if Alfred Newman and Ken Darby did the adaptation work on The Sound of Music instead of Irwin Kostal?
