JURASSIC WORLD: CAMP CRETACEOUS---Netflix subscribers posted a screenshot of a now-deleted item from Netflix titled "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" which led to fan speculation that Universal Pictures and Netflix are working on the next JURASSIC WORLD sequel.
CHRISTOPHER NOLAN---Elizabeth Debicki (THE NIGHT MANAGER) has joined the cast of Robert Pattinson and John David Washington in the Christopher Nolan movie whose plot has not been released.

MONSTER PROBLEMS---Dylan O'Brien and Michael Rooker star in this post-apocalyptic movie where monsters now rule the Earth, and an expert hunter teaches survival skills to a young man. Shawn Levy is the producer.
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE---Noah Centineo is in talks to play He-Man in the Sony Pictures reboot movie. Dolph Lundgren played He-Man in the 1987 movie.
DANGER GIRL---movie underway based on the comic book. Jeff Wadlow (KICK-ASS 2) is the director.
JEKYLL AND HYDE---movie underway based on the Broadway play. Alexander Dinelaris (BIRDMAN) is the writer.
SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE---producer Avi Arad wants Sam Raimi to direct a Spider-Man animated movie, "I would love to see what kind of animated Spider-Man movie we’d get from Sam Raimi so if he sees this, ‘Call me Sam!'"
JAMES BOND---Danny Boyle commented on why he left the 25th James Bond movie, “I learned quite a lot about myself with Bond. I work in partnership with writers and I am not prepared to break it up. We were working very, very well but they didn’t want to go down that route with us. So we decided to part company, and it would be unfair to say what it was because I don’t know what Cary [Fukunaga] is going to do. I got a very nice message from him and I gave him my best wishes.
It is just a great shame. What John [Hodge] and I were doing, I thought, was really good. It wasn’t finished, but it could have been really good. You have to believe in your process and part of that is the partnership I have with a writer."
SHERLOCK HOLMES 3---the sequel is reportedly set in 1890 San Francisco.
TOM RIPLEY---tv series underway based on the five Tom Ripley novels. Steve Zaillian (SCHINDLER'S LIST) is the writer/director.
THE OTHER MRS.---Netflix movie underway based on the upcoming novel about a family who inherits a house on a remote Maine island and then incurs the wrath of the community when their neighbor is murdered.
THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT---Anya Taylor-Joy stars in this Netflix movie based on the novel about a young woman who seeks to be the world's best chess player.
MINDY KALING---Netflix coming-of-age comedy series based on the life of Mindy Kaling.
TRIVIA---Gen. John Twiggs Myers was a highly-decorated Marine Corps officer whose heroic actions inspired characters in two movies, 55 DAYS AT PEKING and THE WIND AND THE LION.
Myers led the Marine detachment which defended the United States Legation in Peking during the 1900 Boxer Rebellion. He led an attack against Boxer forces in which British Consul Sir Claude Maxwell MacDonald said, "one of the most successful operations of the siege, as it rendered our position on the wall, which had been precarious, comparatively strong."
Myers inspired Charlton Heston's Maj. Matt Lewis in 55 DAYS AT PEKING (Heston, David Niven, Ava Gardner).
Myers also led the Marine detachment in Morocco during the Pedicaris incident when a former US citizen, Ion Pedicaris and his stepson, were kidnapped by Moroccan bandits. President Theodore Roosevelt sent in seven Navy warships and the Myers-led Marines in an attempt to intimidate the kidnappers.
Myers inspired Steve Kanaly's Capt. Jerome in THE WIND AND THE LION (Sean Connery, Candice Bergen, Brian Keith).
