Short answer, I doubt it. I agree with the video that Marvel publishing will likely leave New York, but I doubt they will cease publishing comics any time soon. As an isolated business the comic publishing is profitable, but a drop in the bucket compared to Disney revenues. On the other hand, the comics are excellent R&D that gets utilized in many different ways, from movies, tv shows, video games, etc. Pretty much every named character in a movie is based on a character from the comics. Even if no new characters are created, the comics can give older a characters a fresh modernization and generate story ideas that can be used in many different ways. With Disney+ coming, they have a chance to utilize even more of the characters and storylines. As for the comment about outsourcing, yes IDW has licensed some Marvel properties, but if you look at what they are licensing, the license is extremely limited. For example, the Avengers and Spider-Man books are all-ages books, which most comic buyers scoff at, or perhaps buy it for their kids, nieces, and/or nephews. For themselves an all-ages book is a non-starter. The other work they are publishing have similar niches, such as black and white, giant sized volumes that are the actual size of the pages the comics were originally drawn. Beautiful if you want to enjoy the pencil and ink work of the artists, but also prohibitively expensive for most. In a nutshell, Disney is licensing off aspects of Marvel comics that Marvel publishing either wasn't doing, or wasn't doing successfully. Obviously I have no idea what will happen, but I doubt they will make such a radical decision unless comic publishing as it exists now ceases to exist.

The FF need to return to glory. Marvel's First Family really should be at the top where they belong. The Lee/Kirby run made me love comics. John Byrne's tenure was a return to greatness and then Waid/Weringo made them must-read comics.
