captain X, I was using exaggeration in a feeble attempt at being amusing. They're actually about 16 or 17 euros each, which still seems dirt cheap after literally centuries of paying 250 euros for every US import, plus a billion euros in shipping.

Got all excited for a moment.

Agreed... inflated shipping, import charges, possible additional surcharges, additional import duty fees, customs clearance fees, customs handling fees, customs coffee break fees, VAT, excise, etc., etc., etc. Unfortunately US soundtrack imports and even buying soundtracks from other non-EU countries can be super expensive. No fun! Wishlist is getting longer and longer.

But I love Quartet!

...and Lukas!

I agree with the comment about Duning's comedy scores not sounding zany and slapsticky but instead light and breezy.

Noone said rom-com (romance comedy) music had to be cartoonish. But it sounds like source cues to me, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Interestingly, SAE files this album under Lyn Murray (without George Duning):

Received this release yesterday - boy, this is real fun ! Clear Stereo Sound, wonderful melodies, nice artwork and informative liner notes - if you love easy 60s Soundtracks this is a gift for you ! A big thanks to Quartet and Lukas!

Greatest unexpected surprise: the start of track 14 ("Gesundheit") is note for note the opening motiv of the original Star Trek theme...

Ironic since Duning later composed for the show.
