I am talking about movies that is not about sports but feature just a few scenes (or so) about some kind of a sport. For example the old guys in the movie Cocoon 2 is playing basket (to James Horner`s Basketball Swing) but that movie is far from considered a sports movie. So we all have our favorite sports movies and sports movie scores. However what about those movies that is not about sports but still have a scene or two that features some kind of a sports. And just like my example that movie had a track that is underscoring that sports scene. Starts with ski jumping, then into the skiing, then skiing with a bobsleigh! The Bond films have a high pedigree wth sport scenes. Horse racing, fencing, clay pigeon shooting, skiing (four times), ice hockey, golf, poker (if you can call that a sport), polo, even surfing...    Posted:   Mar 25, 2019 - 12:59 PM     By:   Thor   (Member) Well I shall respond with the skiing sequence in FYEO which is one of my favourite chase scenes ever. Starts with ski jumping, then into the skiing, then skiing with a bobsleigh! Kinda similar to the Cortina montage in STORY OF A WOMAN. A rather cheesy and ad hoc sequence, but at least it allows Williams the opportunity to write a glorious piece of music (release this score already, dammit!). There are obviously plenty of such scenes. TMWTGG featured a legit Muay Thai fight in Rajadamnern Stadium. Not forgetting the Sumo in YOLT. I love Sumo!
