THE WALKING DEAD---trailer released for the season finale.

THE MANDALORIAN---Werner Herzog commented on his role in the new STAR WARS tv series, “Now this is not a secret anymore, a small part, real small part, in THE MANDALORIAN, the STAR WARS sequel or whatever you call it. I like to do it because I know I’m good on screen, but only if I have to play a real villain.”
GAME OF THRONES---Maisie Williams hinted about Season 8, “After I read Season 8, I watched Season 1 - there’s a lot of similarities.”
JUSTICE LEAGUE---Zack Snyder commented on the original concept for the movie, “The original JUSTICE LEAGUE that Chris [Terrio] and I wrote, we didn’t even shoot. The actual idea, the hard, hard idea, the scary idea, we never filmed because the studio was like ‘That’s crazy.’ When this movie came out, understand that Chris Terrio and I had finished the script to JUSTICE LEAGUE before BATMAN V SUPERMAN came out. Some people didn’t like the movie. A vocal minority. So they said ‘There’s a lot of stuff we don’t want you to do,’ so we did a rewrite from that script. We were really nervous after the response.
The truth is that, the Knightmare sequence in this movie was always my idea that all of that would eventually be explained and we end up in a distant future, where Darkseid has taken over Earth…[and] a few members of the Justice League that had survived in that world…were fighting.”
CHAMBERS---Netflix 10-part miniseries about a young woman who seeks to find the donor of her heart transplant who mysteriously died and discovers she is acquiring the characteristics of the deceased donor. Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn star.
METHUSELAH---Michael B. Jordan stars in this Warner Bros. movie about a super-intelligent warrior who is over 900 years old.
GODZILLA VS. KONG---producer Alex Garcia said there may be more monster movies after GODZILLA VS. KONG, which is currently filming in Australia, “We take it one movie at a time. We’re working with Adam Wingard, working toward GODZILLA VS. KONG, but the right now the focus is all on [Godzilla 2] . . . It’s one brick at a time. There’s obviously a goal of what we want the whole thing to look like, but each piece has to be as good as it can be. Could there be? Yeah, that’s the hope if the movies turn out really well.”
ASUNDA---HBO fantasy series underway based on the Sebastian A. Jones book series. Jones is the co-writer and producer.
FOX---Fox renewed 9-1-1 and THE RESIDENT, both for Season 3.
TRIVIA---two child actresses who became adult actresses, Veronica Cartwright and Morgan Brittany, appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS.
Cartwright played Cathy Brenner in THE BIRDS and later was known for playing Joan Lambert in ALIEN, although she originally was going to play Ellen Ripley. Brittany (born Suzanne Cupito) later played Katherine Wentworth on DALLAS.
Veronica Cartwright and Morgan Brittany are attacked by a seagull in THE BIRDS.
Cartwright co-starred with Jessica Tandy, Rod Taylor and Tippi Hedren in THE BIRDS.
Cartwright is better known as Joan Lambert in ALIEN, but she originally was going to play Ellen Ripley in ALIEN.
Sigourney Weaver replaced Cartwright as Ripley. Ironically, Weaver's uncle, Doodles Weaver, appeared with Cartwright in THE BIRDS.
