For God's sake......... As have been stated many times before SHIPPING of VARESE titles has been handled by an outside vendor for sometime and it's a contact they are locked into for sometime to come. This was a deal signed by the former owners and VARESE can't get out of it until the contact is up. If it's concord who is shipping the CDS, I doubt anything will change for the time being. So I'd direct my anger at the fulfillment company and the postal service. Beyond delivering the product, VAERSE doesn't have control over this service at this time. I'm sure if you contact them they will do everything they can to correct the matter, but that's about it for the moment. The good news is that if the jewel case is broken or damaged, it's fairly east to replacement them. Ford A. Thaxton

Thaxton this is BS. They are business not a student project. The customer doesn’t care about the behind the scenes or mechanics of running the business. Couldn’t give a shit about what contracts are awarded to outside vendors and any failures therein. The product the customer receives is what matters at the end of the day. If the vendor is responsible for the poor packaging and sending out wrong orders, then VS should be reprimanding said vendors. Surely there has to be penalties/fines the vendor is held accountable for as part of the contract if SLAs/QC aren’t met? Plus their customer service sucks. As mentioned before they stated they won’t replace cracked cases. You mention replacing broken jewelled cases, but who keeps paying for that? It is the principle at the end of the day. There are a lot of, (rightly), angry people on this board who have just had enough of the substandard service.

The former ONWERS choose to do this because it saved them $$$$. The folks who did this are no longer own VARESE, but they are stuck wit the deal. Now before you all blow a gasket, think about it. If VARESE could them to do a better job under the terms of said agreement, they would. Rage all you want, but I'd suggest being a tad calmer and reach out to them in a POLITE manner and I suspect they will do everything they can to help you. As for "Replacing broken Jewels is Bullshit", I've been doing it myself since 1988. I't not that hard to do and really doesn't cost much. If the product is damaged, more then likely the postal service is t he one to blame, not VARESE. Take a deep breath, chill, think about and try not to be over the top over a fairly minor issue. This is on Varese not the shipping company. They should've picked a quality shipping and packing company. If they are stuck in a shipping contract, (never knew there was such a thing!) They should demand a release from the contract for consistently sending out the wrong product, damage products or (in my case) forgetting to ship out my order. Last but not least sue the company for shoddy work. FYI, this deal was made by the FORMER OWNERS of VARESE who no longer are there. Also, if the company in question doesn't want out of the contact you are sort of stuck. Ford A. Thaxton

After Todd and I were no long shipping and it went to Naxos, we tried and tried to get them to tweak the shipping, more padding, something. Sorry we weren't able to change this. I'd also be curious to know if Naxos ships items in these card board containers if you use Media Mail or if they use them for Media Mail and Priority Mail. Maybe Priority Mail they use mailers. Has anyone gotten a bubble mailer that had these shipped Priority Mail in the U.S.A.? Has any overseas customer gotten a package in this card board containers? Sorry guys.

ZOOBA: Again, paying customers should not have to do that. If the product is damaged, more then likely the postal service is t he one to blame, not VARESE. ZOOBA: No, bubble wrap and "sturdy" packaging in "their words" is the answer and solution. Take a deep breath, chill, think about and try not to be over the top over a fairly minor issue. Ford A. Whenever I ordered when you were still there, everything was fine and really great. You were indeed a wonderful asset to them. Thanks so much for you kind words and compassion. YOU are a PROFESSIONAL Sir! Todd was the master at shipping and I can’t tell you how much pride he took in that job. I was lucky to assist him from time to time.
