Strange. I doubt that any original sheet music exists since the "theme" was a splice of two Constant library pieces "Etrange #3" and "Milieu #2". Herrmann did however re-record the Constant theme during season 3 and I believe it appears on a few episodes (Little Girl Lost being one of them).

Indeed it does

William Lava cleverly interpolated the Constant riff into the closing moments of his original "silent screen" score for Once Upon a Time.

Yeah, that's how I read Roberts' quote - that Herrmann couldn't outdo Constant's theme, so neither could they.

As a point of interest, there is a symphonic orchestration of the Twilight Zone theme available on YouTube played by the Boston Pops and John Williams. Arrangement by yours truly.

That was cool.

And the repeating four notes became a kind of aggressive "Jaws" theme at a couple parts.

Well, Mr. Truly, this was the only version I knew (aside from the show) for the longest time! My music teacher had this in his office.

Hey rerunkr that was wonderful. Man you sure got a lot of mileage out of them 4 notes. And on that note, nice little Herrmannic touch around 3:10!
