He just posted a video on Facebook which includes a sneak peek to the studio with a snippet of the score. The video includes several wacky instruments like The Otamatone, toy pianos, ukulele, kazoo and hurdy-gurdy. It sounds like it’s going to be another project full of creativity. Looking forward to the score, not the film though.

Surprised this announcement isn't getting much attention up here.

It's much more fun to discuss Giacchino's Captain Marvel, apparently!

I like McCreary but I'm kinda burnt out on his horror scores.

Listening to Cloverfield Paradox for the first time, as well as my first time really delving into a McCreary work in general.
I'm digging it! Surprising this guy's lucky enough to be considered worthy of both Godzilla and Chucky, but what the hey, this guy's clearly got some chops.

Where does he find the time with all his television and other movie assignments???? I found his Walking Dead music rather lacking this season.

If the music in the video is any indication of what he's doing for the score, I found it boring, and the short BRAAMs just pissed me off (I want these modern BRAAAAAMMMSSS to die already!).

I did, however, like the video itself.

Where is Joe Renzetti when we need him?

Retired, I would imagine.

Bear McCreary, Mark Hamill...they're making it really hard to want to ignore this movie.

I know, right? I bet even Don Mancini's coming round to it...

I don’t know where he is but I remember Kritzerland mentioning that they’d take a look on the possibility to release
his Poltergeist III score, but no news on this. Maybe it is Varese in perpetuity?
The album is ok but some of the music are different to the film versions and it is missing a lot of music.

As for Child’s Play I’m looking forward to Bear McCreary’s score. Both his Cloverfields are exceptional scores.

Screw Renzetti, give Graeme Revell another shot (and release his score to Child's Play 2 finally!).

JR retired long ago - not sure what Revell's doing either it's been quite sometime surely he's not retired, he'd be my pick for Dune.
