This is a great for people who missed the FSM CD. However, as a fan of the show' scoring, I find myself just unhappy, because I have to skip it -- I'm not re-buying it even for a disc of unreleased scoring. I wish that instead they had re-issued the FSM CD, then released a separate CD (and that would have been a nice way to get out Morton Stevens' only effort for the series). Oh well.

This is a great for people who missed the FSM CD. I am one of them. Missing out on the FSM release (for reasons I can't even remember) was one of the big regrets of my collecting life. This was my favorite show - my favorite THING, really - for the several years of my life. THIS WILL BE MINE. How did you miss this??? It’s coming out on vinyl for RSD, too.

I mainly know the show through pop culture osmosis, but I love the theme and damn if I'm not digging these clips. Cool release. Me too.

I have the original FSM release, but I do love the mix of symphonic and big-band stylings in these scores, so I didn't need any persuasion to order the new release. Besides, it's Stu Phillips!

It's not a matter of who the release has, but rather that Stevens' score is too short for a release of it's own, Don Peake has too many episode scores to be released (and what has not only needs a good mastering, but cues are missing), Stu has had most of his stuff release so it makes sense to pair it with his work on the same show, and it's unlikely to sell by itself on a separate non KR release (which would mean, if it happened, it would need to be another score from the same studio because of rights issues).
