Along with Gideon's Way, Randall & Hopkirk, and Sentimental Agent, all released on the 3rd of May.
Surprised this is not announced on the Network site?
Thanks for the heads up.

I did separate threads for Gideon's Way and Sentimental Agent. I didn't do a thread for R+H because it's a reissue.

Nice! Network is great with these. I still have to snag the new release of The Prisoner, which seems to be a real improvement over the original release.

Although the blurb for R+H does say..."remastered by John Webber at AIR Studios".

The one problem the original Network releases had was that they did very little work on the actual sound, so there were variations in volume levels and other imperfections that hadn't been ironed out. Perhaps the remastering resolves much of this.

Also, as someone else said, it's nice that they appear to be packaging these in proper CD cases.

Wonderful stuff, I wonder where they keep finding all this material? According to the cd notes from The Music Of ITC and I quote "Sadly almost all of the music from The Baron is lost. This set comprises virtually all known cues still in existence".
Same can be said of Gideon's Way.
Great that Network have found this rare material, maybe the lost music from the monochrome series of The Saint might show up some day.

Maybe ITC finally hired someone good at keeping track of/tracking down their scoring masters.....

ITC hasn't existed for years, and I doubt that anyone at ITV Studios (who now control the ITC catalogue) really cares about this sort of thing. I would presume any discovery of new material is mainly down to Network themselves.

THE BARON shall be mine! I can't believe I'm finally going to be able to get a CD of this great music. I taped the theme off TV some 50 years ago and was always very fond of it.

Thanks for the reminder/correction.

I watched here in the US. And according to Wikipedia:
"Thirty episodes were produced, and the show was exported to the American ABC network."

From what I understand, it didn't run the full season on ABC prime time here in the states.
