That's an instant purchase for me. Dominic Frontiere should be all over this set. Sad to me Charles Thaxton won't get to listen to this release. Greg Espinoza

MV said there would be future volumes, so I'm hoping the above info is not accurate. There's no way all of those series and composers can be decently represented on only two cds, and LLL releasing a "TV's Greatest Hits" would be laughable (although Varese has done one). Even focusing on one series with the composers named would be inadequate, but better than the sampler implied.

Greg Espinoza Charles no doubt has not a Best of, volume 1, but the entire catalog of music he ever wanted to listen to.

Charles no doubt has not a Best of, volume 1, but the entire catalog of music he ever wanted to listen to. Oh, you mean he went to "Soundtrack Heaven"? If that were true, we'd all kill ourselves. I'm sure it doesn't work that way. Otherwise people would be offing themselves to get to "real" heaven...

I've been rewatching THE INVADERS and there's a few composers who scored episodes. I wonder how much music Dom composed for the series (aside from the pilot and reused later). Not that much.

I need a volunteer here -- someone who has Volume 1 and is familiar with or is willing to go through all the tracks to Schifrin's score from "Most Wanted", compared to a suite of score ripped from various episodes that have the theme or sound like original pieces, but are not from any credited scores by other composers. I do not have the suite ready at this time -- just seeking in advance. Sadly, I was never in a financial situation to get the CD and there is only one cue from the set on YouTube (otherwise I'd have done the comparison myself).
