Yeah it makes sense for him to return. It's the same creators, plus he happily tweeted about it when it was announced. I really loved what he did for the first run!
The ending of Penny Dreadful was...dreadful. I don't think I've ever been more annoyed with a TV show. Vanessa's character, the heart of the show, was completely ruined. I've not wanted to watch the show again since.
New Korzeniowski music would probably convince me to give this a shot, though.
Oh, it was a bit rushed yes. But I did really like the last season. And final 10 minutes gives me goosbumps (in a good way! lol). But it could be the music that "sold" me. He did amazing for for those final moments, and its such a shame (and weird!) that the final cue was not included in the OST.
I just saw all 3 season´s and Abel´s music was soul of whole series. Like his opening theme, waltzes and those sad cellos in 3rd season which reminds me Killar´s Dracula. Great music and great series...I was hoping that he will return for City of Angels.
