Yep. This happened due to the expiry of a digital certificate in Firefox used to verify the add-ons. Some twits at Mozilla didn't remember that they run out.
To fix the ESR and Android versions of Firefox, which Mozilla say aren't included in their emergency patches, use 'about:config', and change 'xpinstall.signatures.required' to false. Remember to change it back to 'true' when the official fixes come out.
Also, while the ESR and Android versions are unfixed, it's probably a good idea to disable automatic updates of the add-ons, that way you don't run the risk of an unverified add-on getting through. Again, for most users it's advised to turn it back on once the fixes come through.
The official fixes are quoted, but the comments suggest they don't work for everyone. The beginning of the blog suggests as of 20:17 British Summer Time that new versions of the browser are now available with the certificate failure now fixed.
Edit: I've just checked and my Firefox install isn't detecting the new ESR version (60.6.2), however it is available on Mozilla's Firefox versions site here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ so right now, it may be necessary to do a direct install rather than waiting for / doing an update via the browser itself.
It's taking time to roll out. I've just checked and my browser now has the ability to update to the fixed version, so give it time and hopefully yours will see the 66.0.4 version soon (within hours, if not minutes, of now).

Just checked and got the FF update. Things look back to normal now. Thanks!

The ones here at the library are running 60.4.0. Nuts.
