Well, that's ... disappointing. Who you gonna call? Not Sony if you want to license something.

Well, it's good for those who missed out on the Varese release, but I am looking for a deluxe edition that incudes the full score, including the two source cues (the hotel dining room and restaurant where Lois is chased to) only partially used in the film but in-full on the bad-sounding boot. This just means that even if Sony changes it's mind next week about licensing, they're not going to license this out until they've sold off what ever they have pressed.

Nothing, yet, on the American Amazon store.

Thanks for the heads up, Ryan. Really curious to know if this has been significantly remastered.

This could be tremendous if the remastering has been done well. I thought the Varese release had great sound. Three hurrahs for all those who missed the Varese release!

And all it took was a measly 13 years. Ah, Hollywood synergy. This could be tremendous if the remastering has been done well. Sony? Remastering? What daft sorcery is this? Hope this doesn't get confused with the songtrack, which would be easy. Audio CD (June 14 2019) Original Release Date: June 14 2019 Number of Discs: 1 Label: Sony Music Canada Entertainment Inc. Run Time: 61 minutes Sony rearranged the tracks (if Amazon's list is correct), and Varese is listed as 68 minutes... https://www.soundtrack.net/album/ghostbusters-original-score/

My hope is that Ghostbusters II is also forthcoming. The LLL guys said (5 years back) that they had a master for both ready...but SONY wanted to do it themselves. Maybe we might see the LLL master magic via SONY?
