This is of course a disguised question about what your favourite films are, but I'm curious about the numbers (if you can remember).

There are a number of films I've seen 20+ times, but I think the following films are in a class of their own, with at LEAST 60+ times each: ALIEN, ALIENS and JURASSIC PARK.

Since the early 90s, I've seen the ALIEN and JURASSIC PARK films at least once every year, plus plus.

I remember the numbers going to a theater to see films.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.....33 times (a new theater opened in my area with a fantastic sound system)
Raiders of the Lost Ark.....31 times
Back to the Future.....21 times
Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan.....21 times
Star Trek IV The Voyage Home.....16 times
Return of the Jedi.....16 times
Titanic.....13 times
Jurassic Park.....10 times
The Terminator.....10 times
Star Wars.....10 times
Creepshow.....8 times

As for home video? There are certain films I watch every year because they take place on a specific date.

Christmas season.....Die Hard, Die Hard 2, Gremlins, Lethal Weapon

April 14.....Titanic

July 4.....Jaws

Superbowl Sunday.....Black Sunday

December 31.....The Poseidon Adventure

There are 3 films I've seen more than any others. Not necessarily through choice, mainly because they are on TV repeatedly, but I like them all. Back to the Future, ET and Wyatt Earp. The ones I've seen most by choice are Cinema Paradiso and Jean de Florette, two of my favourites.

I have Sky Movies, and lots of the films listed here are pretty much on every other day!

I recorded Lost Horizon today, I'm looking forward to watching it (though I think I've seen it before years ago) as I've had the CD for years!

I probably watched Evil Dead 2 about 200+ times as a teenager but haven't seen it except for once in the last 15 years.

Jaws, The Thing, Alien, Apocalypse Now, An American Werewolf in London 50+ times

I have pretty bad memory, so often if i leave a film a few years half of it is like watching it almost from new.

There are plenty of films i've watched dozens of times going back from the 80s.

Of recent films, A Field in England i got obsessed with briefly a few years ago and watched it 20+ times in a pretty short time for some reason.

Wow. I don't think I've seen anything more than six or seven times. These would include:

Inherit the Wind
The Magnificent Seven
The Big Country
Lawman
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Mad World
The Alamo

That’s good countin’, Bill!

I’ll have seen the 60s to 80s Bond films more than any other, though I can’t put a number on them, wish I could.

We watched some of the Disney films multiple times with the kids, I guess they qualify as well.

Then the films we watch at Christmas by family tradition for the last 15-20 years: Scrooged, Muppet’s Christmas Carol.

The Dollars films, Leone’s Once Upon a Time duo, Battle of Algiers, and yes Where Eagles Dare (and Battle of Britain) are other regulars.

I've seen Jaws over 150 times, but have no idea exactly how many times. Same with the original Star Wars.

Chinatown around 30 times. A number of films 10 or more viewings.

Quite a lot at least twice. A considerable number at least up to four times. A hearty selection of predominantly genre titles in the five to nine range, and then there's these select titles:

The Omen & Star Wars (at least 10 times)

Planet of the Apes ’68 (at least 15 times)

Star Trek: TMP (more than 25 times)

As people say above, with certain films being shown on the telly sometimes every day or night, it's hard to gauge how many times you watch them or if it truly counts as a viewing (Carole always asks me to turn off JAWS or FIRST BLOOD when I continually let them play in our house).
Going by trips to the cinema, although I never go back to see a film nowadays (no point, as they're available within 2-3 months), as a youngster, the film I saw most at the flicks was STAR WARS (9 times), followed by EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (4 times) and then things like SUPERMAN, E.T, RETURN OF THE JEDI, CE3K, RAIDERS/TEMPLE OF DOOM, BACK TO THE FUTURE around 2 or 3 times.

I guess I have seen films like THE STAND, THE LANGOLIERS, THE HOUSE OF THE SPIRITS, FORREST GUMP, THE GREEN MILE, FALLING DOWN, RAIN MAN, SEVEN, THE NAKED GUN 1-3, THE GAME, HOT SHOTS...perhaps 5 times or so.

I've never thought of counting how many times I've watched a film. In the theaters? Probably Star Wars, more than five less than ten. I don't know how people can see a film 10, 20, 30 or more times in the theater. No matter how much I love a film. Time and money, ya know?

On home video and cable? Either Star Wars (again) or The Secret of NIMH. How many times I have no idea, over 20 less than a 100 I imagine. Toss in the Star Trek films and many of the classic Disney animated films too.

National Treasure
Point Break
Back to the Future
Star Trek-The Motion Picture
Kelly's Heroes
To Live and Die in L.A.

I do not have numbers but all well into double digits (of times viewed) at least and on home video formats. Beta, VHS, LD, DVD and now BR.... :-(

I admit that when I watch them today, a scene or two may be skipped when viewing.

(I realize there is no pattern here)

I don't know. In my childhood I watched Gremlins and Gremlins 2 a shit ton. E.T., Close Encounters, Star Wars and Star Trek films, James Cameron stuff, Laurence of Arabia. For the last decade and change I rarely rewatch movies often, and usually before the next film in a series comes out. So I've seen Captain America a handful of times. Non-series stuff, I've watched Speed Racer 3 or 4 times and consider it a favorite. Donnie Darko, another favorite, probably 5-6 times. I think I saw John Carter 2 or 3 times.
