Also, Ian McElhinney (Barristan Selmy) commented on George RR Martin and his upcoming books, "I dunno if you know more than me about this, but what I've been told is that George has already written book six and seven, and far as he is concerned there are only seven books. But he struck an agreement with Dave and Dan (the showrunners of the series) that he would not publish the final two books until the series is completed. So, all goes well, in another month or two, we might get book six and seven."

THE VIRTUOSO---Anthony Hopkins, Anson Mount and Abbie Cornish star in this movie about an assassin who pays off a debt to his mentor by killing someone in a remote diner, but he must figure who the target is on his own.

ROTHCHILD---Shia LaBeouf and Mel Gibson star in this black comedy movie based on the novel about the bastard son of the wealthy New York Rothchild family who plots to kill the nine members of the family, including his devious grandfather, in order to inherit the vast family fortune.

SHRUNK---Walt Disney Pictures reboot/sequel of the 1989 HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS movie is underway with Josh Gad playing the adult son of the Rick Moranis character who also accidentally shrinks his kids.

THE SUICIDE SQUAD---Benecio Del Toro is rumored to be a candidate for the lead villain. Michael Rooker denied earlier reports that he is a candidate to play King Shark.

THE MATRIX 4---a representative for Chad Stahelski clarified his earlier comment and said the Wachowsklis are not involved with the fourth movie in the franchise.

BECKY---Simon Pegg and Lulu Wilson star in this movie about a teenage girl and her widowed father who vacation at a lake house that is invaded by a gang of dangerous convicts.

AQUAMAN---Peter Jackson said he turned Warner Bros. twice to direct the DC Comics movie because he was not familiar with the comic book, “He said, ‘Are you a fan of Aquaman?’ I said, ‘No.’ Six months later: ‘Peter, are you a fan of Aquaman?’ I said, ’No, Kevin [Tsujihara], I already told you this.’ I’m not a superhero guy. I read TINTIN… Look, films are hard. I only want to make something that I have a deep passion for.”

TURN OF MIND---Annette Bening and Michelle Pfieffer will star in the movie based on the novel.

WHISKEY CAVALIER---ABC cancelled the series. It will be offered to other networks. The cancellation led to speculation that Lauren Cohan might return to THE WALKING DEAD.

CBS---the network renewed HAWAII FIVE-O, MacGYVER, BULL, MADAM SECRETARY, SEAL TEAM and SWAT.

FOX---Fox renewed THE ORVILLE for Season 3 and cancelled LETHAL WEAPON, THE PASSAGE and THE COOL KIDS. Fox also greenlit 9-1-1 spinoff series 9-1-1: LONE STAR which stars Rob Lowe as a New York cop who moves to Austin, Texas with his son. Fox also announced EMPIRE's Season 6 will be the last season.

THIS IS US---NBC renewed the series for three more seasons.

POWER---Starz announced that Season 6 will be the last season.

TRIVIA---more James Bond movie trivia.
Dolph Lundgren had his first movie role in In A VIEW TO A KILL as Venz, the bodyguard for KGB General Gogol (Walter Gotell).

If they can get Moranis to come out of retirement for a cameo, and have Bruce Broughton score it, i'll be happy.

Wont' see the inevitable un-needed piece of crap, but still.

That photo of Mel makes him look as if he's wearing a yarmulke. Apt, I would say, for his upcoming role.

Intriguing, that Shia Le Boeuf is being cast in a high-end movie, especially since his antics have precluded much film work.
