I liked the first film - I think Jolie is superb as that villainess. The trailer looks fine... until that stupid song kicks in, with the usual predictable background trailer drum cliche, "Must be the season of the Witcccchhhh... ."

I agree. Imagine the teaser with James Newton Howard's fantastic score from the first movie as an underscore instead. Sigh.
I was really surprised by the first part. Didn't expect it to be so fresh and even moving.
Look forward to seeing what Genndy has come up with "Primal". Unless of course he doesn't hire James L. Venable and more forgettable scoring by Tyler Bates happens like that final season of "Samurai Jack".

I got nothing out of that. Bad job at trying to sell me a movie. Wonder if this will go the way of Alice Threw the Looking Glass? Where the first film was a stupid hit and the sequel bombed?
