Show was fantastic. I have no interest in listening to that music outside the show after watching it. Pure sound design as I have come to expect.

Like Johan Johansson's works, I will be listening to this score under the heading of "Sonic Soundscapes."
And is there something going on in the Icelandic music community? This is at least two composers now.

That's a strong recommendation right there. Harris was outstanding in The Terror.


Harris is amazing in this, it's as career-defining as Mad Men was. He said in an interview that he got the role after Daniel Day-Lewis dropped out when he retired from acting, which shows the caliber of the material.

Johansson and Guðnadóttir composed Mary Magdalene and a few other things together and she played cello on most of his earlier scores, according to Wikipedia, so it seems like she was a protege of his.
