Ignoring everything post T2 -- again.

What will Junkie XL do with Brad Fiedel's soundscape? I'm cautiously optimistic with Cameron involved but less optimistic with the results of the previous collaboration between Junkie and this director (Deadpool). We'll see.

They should have gotten Fiedel back. Wouldn't have needed to buy any new equipment. He could have added to his nest egg.

Instead, we're stuck with this bullshit.

Clearly this should have gone to Ludwig Göransson.

Just to annoy Thor.

Thanks, Jason. I've lost the patience to work around a search function that can't find an exact match in a thread title.

There's an easy work around. Go to Google and enter, for example:
site:filmscoremonthly.com Terminator "Junkie XL"

This. Just lost all interest in the big fat egg.

Indeed. I'm apparently not the only one accidentally creating duplicate threads this week.

In any case, great composer casting choice. Perfect!

He's been asked. Repeatedly. He's not interested. Since that's the case, I'd very much prefer John Carpenter.

That's not correct. It's not that he's not interested. From my interview with him a few years ago (on my currently defunct Rejected Film Scores website:

If you were ever contacted again, whether it be Cameron or somebody else, to score for the Terminator (film or television), would you be interested to do so?

Not really... (unless it was Jim and he was going to be an integral part of the production)
