STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER---sources claim the sequel will end the lengthy conflict between the Jedi and the Sith and deepen the connection between Kylo Ren and Rey.
Also, Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy said the successful Marvel Cinematic Universe formula won't work for Lucasfilm's STAR WARS franchise, " think that Disney is very respectful of what this is, and right from the beginning we talked about the fragility of this form of storytelling. Because it’s something that means so much to fans that you can’t turn this into some kind of factory approach. You can’t even do what Marvel does, necessarily, where you pick characters and build new franchises around those characters. This needs to evolve differently.
Evil needs to feel and look very real. And what that means today may not be as black-and-white as it might have been in 1977, coming off a kind of World War II sensibility.

GAME OF THRONES---HBO head Casey Bloys commented on the fan criticism of the final season which he said was, "roughly split with some people loving it and some people disliking it. That’s about what you’d expect...But you’re never going to make everybody happy, nor should that be the goal.”

Why does the morphing look on the new Terminator villain look more fake than the T2 villain from 1992?

I hate these sequels that cancel out earlier films. Terminator 3 was fine, actually it was a lot of fun and put a really nice cap on the original trilogy. Just going by the teaser, this doesn't seem to add anything new. Cameron isn't directing it, so it's just another sequel by someone else as far as I'm concerned. I don't wish for any film to die a Box Office Death, but this one...just because of the hubris involved, I hope it fails miserably. And all of those "this erases all of the shitty non-Cameron films" comments will be so much embarrassing dead air.
