Stephen Barton did some incredible work on the recent video game score for MultiVersus, which I have raved about elsewhere as an homage to Horner and Williams. That work certainly bodes well for PICARD.

I can understand this observation and sympathize to a degree - basically just mimicry of a "Horner sound" shouldn't elicit fawning praise, but admittedly it's nice to hear such sweeping music for a show that has mostly been scored in a stilted fashion.

Ron Jones hasn't scored an episode of Family Guy since 2016. Walter Murphy scores it now.

I would think that a 12 seasons run made him a reasonably easy to get along with person.
