Yeah as much as I’d love to see some diversity and have someone else do it, since it’s supposed to have a different tone, it’ll probably be Jeff Russo. He’s been asked if he’s doing it and won’t confirm or deny.
I’d love to see Bear McCreary get this. He’s a Trek fan and would love to see him get his foot in the door on the franchise

I know it's the theme for the Enterprise more so than her Captain but hearing that little run from TOS and TMP/TNG theme at the end gave me some chills

The titles were not temped with this, but how sad is it that the theme song from a sit-com for children (basically) fits better then the song they actually went with.

Rosso's work for DIS was noticeable, at least. I remember hearing some pretty stirring music in the last few eps of season one (haven't seen S2 yet). I mean, not since BSG have I really head the score in a TV show.
