Age of Pirates Sea Dogs Salamander Key. Leningrad Fort Ross All good in my opinion. The first two are good old pirates and buckle swash music. Salamander is more percussive orchestra with a lot of rhythmic drive(also Michael Madsen and Rutger Hauer are in the film but don't let that put you off)ass kickin'.Fort Ross looks like a sort of Treasure Island-Main titles Jaunty brass and woodwinds. Its a bit like some of the young indy stuff in places, quite broad at times but always tooney

What's the Christmas one like? Christmasy ! (Bells, tinkly stuff).A bit of Prokofiev and Shostakovitch thrown in.Orchestral .Quite nice.Though there are only six tracks by Yuri ,the rest are by two other blokes-tariveerdev and JL PierrePoint(jingle bells) and are arranged by Yuri. Georg is more brooding , not slam bang but orchestral melodic.A lot of piano soloist and some whispy flute. Both worth a go but not quite as good as the previous ones

Your thinking of shosh's Leningrad symphony (7th I think)but I don't think the score uses it ,no mention of it in the booklet.Quote " there's not a note of his works in the cue".Though it does say it whiffs of his stuff as well as Mozart's.

Two more new releases by this dude on Keep Moving Records. A TV series called The Code and a WWII true life disaster film called Saving Leningrad. I haven't heard a score by this fella I didn't like. Ordered. Ordered!

Aye spook, he did those two successful Russian vampire flicks. I remember watching them, back in the day, but don't recall much about them now. There's no trace (that I can find) of either NIGHTWATCH or DAYWATCH soundtracks about anywhere!! (paging Ryan Paquet) I'm currently playing WIND MAN on a loop at the moment. Brilliant stuff. For you and everyone, who want to listen. I just found soundtrack for the Day Watch (I'm not sure is it full album or not) on this russian music site. There is also music from another Poteynko works, so if you need a help with track-list (all track names are in russian) I can write it here. Also there is one track from Night Watch, the name of it is "Epitaphia" https://lightaudio.ru/mp3/%D1%8E.%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BA%D0%BE
