Finishing SEASON 7:
"Moving Violation" By: Richard Markowtiz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4GapQHCUV4 Highlights: 1:17 in. 14:36 in. 27:37 in. 34:44 in. 41:02 in. 43:47 in. "Who Killed J.B. Fletcher?" By: David Bell https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tww6 Highlights: 2:13/4:27 in. 5:24 in. 7:32 in. 12:01 in. 21:19/24:19 in. Just a coupe of short plucky cues. Bell really excels at these. 25:07 in. 28:40/30:25/31:05 in. 41:40 in. "The Taxman Cometh" By: Richard Markowtiz https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tx0j Highlights: 11:04 in. 25:13 in. 29:45 in. What's the name of that TV series this cue is parodying the famous theme from? 31:43 in. Guest-starring Max Wright. "From the Horse's Mouth" By: David Bell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2lE6m-1jPc Highlights: 1:19 in. Soft, warm-ish string work. 7:52/9:05 in. Briefly contains Richard Markowitz's theme from the spin-off series "The Law and Harry McGraw"; been a year, at the time, that the spin-off was cancelled, but unlike other shows that had spin-off characters vanish, MSW really stuck with some of them! 10:01 in. 28:27 in. 41:25 in. 42:49 in. Also contains the theme. "The Prodigal Father" By: Richard Markowtiz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1G6hZKeFRs Highlights: 1:17 in. 2:15 in. 5:37 in. 25:04 in. Guest-starring Larry Wilcox again. "Where Have You Gone, Billy Boy?" By: Richard Markowtiz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxwwEVFkf30 Highlights: 43:01 in. Not only were they a fan of keeping Harry McGraw alive, they were also fond of keeping a character alive from a back-door pilot that never went to series; he's been in several episodes since, including this one, sometimes taking the show over, with Jessica being briefly seen or not seen at all. For the guys here: 7:25 in. You're welcome. "Dumb luck, Lieutenant, pure and simple." "Thursday's Child" By: Richard Markowtiz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mz41JoFF4Q Highlights: 44:29 in. "Murder, Plain and Simple" By: David Bell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM9zFryHVDk Highlights: 1:17 in. 2:39 in. 5:44 in. 14:39 in. 20:36 in. 32:55 in. 37:40 in. 42:48 in. A lot of soft material for the Amish. "Tainted Lady" By: David Bell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7wGAzuZ6oo This is Bell's final effort for the series. Highlights: 1:56 in. 24:18:/26:17/40:01 in. "The Skinny According to Nick Cullhane" By: Richard Markowitz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhbrSjr4W-s This is Markowitz's final effort for the series. Highlights: 1:18/4:24 in. 5:33 in. 8:00 in. 11:35 in. 13:54 in. 19:02 in. Jessica says to Harry that's it's been a "long time, no see", but he was just with her a few episodes ago. I forgot to note them, but some cues briefly use "The Law and Harry McGraw" theme. Fourth Wall breaking in the end of the episode.

SEASON 8:
Sorry, all loads so far for this season, are only up at Dailymotion. I know, it sucks. If you are one of those people who pay for view/downloads at online stores, you can go there. There has been a major composer shake up. This isn't like "Falcon's Crest" which evidently realized it's mistake and brought the composers back after one season or so; Bell and Markowitz didn't come back. Noticeably cheaper and more synth sounding. Also doesn't fit like the music of David Bell. Must have been a budgetary thing. Not bad music, but just not of the same quality, and some of it sounds dated to the 1980's, even though it's 1991 this season. "Bite the Big Apple" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72txvm Highlights: 1:21 in. 7:55 in. 9:11 in. 24:15 in. 25:25/27:09/30:14 in. 31:35 in. 41:49 in. 45:04 in. "He was very seriously murdered." (you know, as opposed to just regular murder) "Night Fears" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72ty3d Highlights: 11:06 in. 24:27 in. 27:58 in. 30:43 in. 40:56 in. "Unauthorized Obituary" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72ty7r Highlights: 1:20 in. 12:09 in. 16:03 in. 30:10 in. 42:58/44:00/45:35 in. "Thicker Than Water" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tycg Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:20 in. 6:33 in. 11:12 in. 18:52 in. 20:50 in. 32:24 in. 33:53 in. "Lines of Excellence" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tyi Highlights: 1:19 in. 33:45 in. "Judge Not" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tyn0 Highlights: 8:23 in. 18:11 in. 31:48 in. 4250 in. 19:30 in: "They hid people down here in the civil war". In a large room with two LARGE windows? How do you hide people in a room where the enemy can look into the windows, or if they can't, demand access to the room with large windows they hadn't been in yet? AND a chimney!

Continuing SEASON 8:
All episodes this season are by Jeff Sturges. "Terminal Connection" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tyrj Highlights: 1:19 in. That's one weird-looking jet. 11:39 in. 16:36 in. "A Killing in Vegas" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tywu Highlights: 1:20 in. 4:01 in. Big jazzy swing band piece. 7:28 in. Casino source music. 12:40 in. 20:46 in. 24:09 in. 29:48 in. 33:54 in. Some of the cues sound like he's posthumously auditioning for "Vega$". "The Committee" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tz4p Highlights: 32:42 in. I' probably skip this cue on a set of season eight scoring. The cue after the opening credits, sounds like it's tracked from a prior Sturges-scored episode. And episode like this makes me wish they hadn't gotten rid of David Bell. :-( "The List of Yuri Lermentov" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tz8e Highlights: 1:20 in. A cue that opens big and rather bold, making you think of a science fiction space film. 6:36 in. 8:33 in. 20:12 in. "Danse Diabolique" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tzd5 Highlights: 1:18 in. Music for a silent ballet on an old recording. 11:10 in.* About 33:20 in. 40:21 in. * = I'd like to be inserted into that scene wit the girl... About 23:30 in: That's classical music, right? If it's not and it's original scoring, then that would be a highlight, too. "The Witch's Curse" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tzj0 Highlights: 11:02 in. 19:25 in. 23:23 in. 37:06 in. "Incident in Lot 7" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tzma Highlights: 1:19 in. 10:29 in. Including a quote from the stabbing music by Bernard Herrmann from the score to "Psycho", as a studio head points out the house from the film. 17:27 in. 20:57 in. Also includes a quote of the stabbing music from "Psycho". 37:23 in.* Sigh. If this had been scored by David Bell, we'd have gotten another Herrmann-homage score, well done with an orchestra (like he did in a prior season). Sigh again. :-( * = His speech about what isn't fair, could be applied to Bell and Markowitz! For the guys here: 7:53 in. You're welcome. Guest-starring Ron Glass (Shepherd Book from "Firefly") Note: The scene "Psycho" that Jessica watches, the stairs stabbing scene, sounds like it's been re-recorded and made to sound old; it didn't sound right, so I compared it to the clip from the film on Youtube and they don't sound the same. Either that or another take was used. "The Monte Carlo Murders" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tzrf Highlights: 1:20 in. 3:14 in. 11:42 in. Sounds like something that could have come out of a later season of "In the Heat of the Night". About 35:25 in. 39:26 in. 45:12/46:03 in. Guest-starring Patrick Bauchau. and Bo Kopkins. "Tinker, Tailor, Liar, Thief" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tzuy Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:19 in. 5:08 in. 7:40/9:31 in. 12:25 in. 18:45 in. 21:56 in. 26:57 in. 45:26 in. "Ever After" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72tzyu Highlights: 1:19 in. 32:34 in. 39:27 in. Guest-starring Kate Mulgrew. "To the Last Will I Grapple with Thee" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u043 Highlights: 1:18 in. 21:24 in. Jessica: "Obsession has always extracted a terrible price, lieutenant." "Programmed for Murder" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u082 Highlights: 1:19 in. 5:10 in. 23:47 in. 40:28 in. "Day of the Dead" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u0c1 Highlights: 1:19 in. Featuring a Spanish guitar. About 8:00 in. 18:40/19:27/21:46 in. 29:28 in. "Angel of Death" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u0fs Highlights: 7:00 in. 16:56/17:20 in. 20:49 in. With a haunting wordless female solo vocal. A little over four minutes. "Badge of Honor" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u0l4 Highlights: 0:00/1:19 in. 2:28 in. 3:53 in. 6:26/7:30 in. 11:02 in. And the cue after the commercial break. 14:34 in. 20:35 in. 22:42 in. 39:15 in. 44:44/45:25 in. A lot of wistful and pleasant cues in this episode. Most enjoyable episode score, over all, from Sturges. "Oh, I wouldn't try to figure her out, sir; I never have." (to the police captain, about Jessica) "Murder on Madison Avenue" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3pf1ac Highlights: 6:40 in. in. Guest-starring John Hillerman. I'll probably have to split season nine up for Friday and Saturday, and -- pending available loads -- finish the show Wednesday. And then I'll go back and finish another TV series I was working on that I had to stop because of no loads (now there are loads).

Many many years ago one of the CBS "60 Minutes" spin-offs ran a segment on the music of "Murder, She Wrote" (or it could have been on the Sunday AM CBS news program). There was a discussion with one of the show's producers about the importance of the music -- and as I recall there was an extended section in which one of the composers (Bell I believe?) conducted a score in a recording booth to image playback. There were several interactions with the producer who asked for minor revisions, etc. Has this episode ever surfaced online? I'd love to see it again. One of my best friends knew Bell back in the day and alerted me to the TV show or I'd probably have missed it back then.

SEASON 9:
Composer shakes up again, though Jeff Sturges is staying onboard (for now). Last season even the opening credits sounded cheaper. This appears to be fixed (I'll have to do a direct comparison to know for sure). I know, Dailymotion sucks, but all loads for this season are only up here. "Murder in Milan" By: Jonathan Tunick https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u0ud Highlights: 5:30 in. About 22:00 in.* About 32:20 in. 34:17 in. 37:10 in. 41:31 in. The quality of the scoring has shot up with Tunick. * = For the guys here. You're welcome. "Family Secrets" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u0z4 Highlights: 1:30 in. 3:58 in. 26:56 in. ALREADY COVERED AS A ONE-OFF. "The Mole" By: John Cacavas "The Wind Around the Tower" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u17k Highlights: 1:19 in. 8:19 in. 12:14 in. 20:50 in. 32:41 in. And the cue shortly after it. 38:14 in. 42:02/43:26 in. Mostly scoring evoking music you'd associate with Ireland. 5:27 of score is on the obscure Brue Babcock promo (which, thankfully, I have!). I don't have it handy, so I can't identify which cues are on it. This score was nominated for an Emmy (I got to say, aside from the Irish flavor, I don't get it; there have been better episode scores that deserved a nomination). The other contenders that year: "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" Episode: "Young Indiana Jones and the Scandal of 1920" Composer: Joel McNeely WINNER "Quantum Leap" Episode: "Lee Harvey Oswald, Part 1" Composer: Velton Ray Bunch "The Simpsons" Episode: "Treehouse of Horror III" Composer: Alf Clausen "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" Episode: "Vienna, 1908" Composer: Laurence Rosenthal "The Dead File" By: Jonathan Tunick https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1ak Highlights: 31:27 in. 35:02 in. 38:07 in. 40:58 in. 42:55 in. 45:23 in. "Night of the Coyote" By: Jonathan Tunick https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1ef Highlights: 1:28 in. 11:33 in. 13:25/39:22 in. Solo Ethnic woodwind for an Indian sheriff. And then some more with other instruments. "Sugar & Spice, Malice & Vice" By: Steve Dorff https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1hr Highlights: 3:57 in. 5:41 in. 2314 in. 26:45 in. 38:27 in. 39:24 in. 45:29 in. "The Classic Murder" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1kl Highlights: 1:20 in. Brief jazzy stage-show like music. This is the only cue in the episode like this. 8:27 in. 18:46/20:45 in. 24:56 in. 33:54 in. 36:30 in. Another episode of a TV series built upon bullshit. "A Christmas Secret" By: Jonathan Tunick https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1nn This is Tunick's final effort for the series. Highlights: 1:20 in. Christmas classic "Joy to the World". 11:48 in. Another Christmas classic 13:08 in. 20:55 in. Short eerie arrangement of "Tis' the Season to be Jolly" (or what ever it's called). 23:34 in. 38:56 in. 43:40 in. Another Christmas classic. A score to a Christmas episode of a TV series needs -- in my opinion -- to check two boxes: 1. Arrangements of Christmas classics (doesn't matter if they are unique arrangements, though that is welcome). 2. Some cues should give the listener what I call "warm fuzzies". "The Sound of Murder" By: Steve Dorff https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1qs Highlights: 37:29 in. "Final Curtain" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1td Highlights: 14:07/16:58 in. 21:53 in. 27:05 in. 29:53 in. 32:29 in. 42:33 in. "Double Jeopardy" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u1x0 Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:22/3:09 in. 20:10 in. 23:17 in. 28:35 in. And the cue after the commercial break. 42:36 in. Guest-starring Robert Beltran. "Dead Eye" By: Steve Dorff https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u22m Highlights: 0:00 in. 3:14 in. 6:43 in. 9:47 in. Joining a cue already in progress. 22:25 in. 25:43 in. 37:41 in. And after the commercial break. 41:35 in. ALREADY COVERED AS A ONE-OFF. "Killer Radio" By: Dick DeBenedictis That's it for today.

Finishing SEASON 9:
Now I conclude season nine. "The Petrified Florist" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u291 Highlights: 1:27 in. 26:12 in. 34:02 in. 44:38 in. Guest-starring Laurie Metcalf and Richard Herd (goodness, he's still alive -- not too far from 100 years old, and still acting!). "Threshold of Fear" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2cg Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:19 in. 12:22 in. 22:19 in. About 28:13 in. 30:08 in. 32:59 in. 37:20 in. 41:18 in. 43:12 in. "The Big Kill" By: Steve Dorff https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2fn Highlights: 0:00 in. 5:57 in. 12:54 in. 22:07 in. 35:29 in. 40:17 in. 41:44 in. 45:43 in. "Dead to Rights" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2k1 Highlights: 1:23 in. 42:08 in. If I were compiling a set of season nine scoring, I'd skip this episode score. "Lone Witness" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2mg Highlights: 1:22 in. 10:05 in. 14:14 in. 16:16 in. 21:27 in. 28:28 in. 35:04 in. 40:44 in. Guest-starring Neil Patrick Harris. "Ship of Thieves" By: Steve Dorff https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2p5 Highlights: 0:00/1:19 in. 21:41 in. The tropical-island evoking piece. 36:18 in. 38:15 in. 44:19 in. For the guys here: 20:20 in. You're welcome. And 25:46 in. Oh, you're so welcome. "The Survivor" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2te Highlights: 1:22 in. 5:07 in. 41:32 in. "Love's Deadly Desire" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x72u2x2 Highlights: 1:24 in. 2:50 in. 6:16 in. Aping that cue from "Jaws", even the end of the cue. Can't say I can complain this time; if you're gonna rip off a cue, make it a good one! 8:05 in. 18:06 in. The dinner party source music. 37:04 in.

SEASON 11:
"A Nest of Vipers" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0wDMt5gVpg (the episode is edited down some) Highlights: 0:47 in. Percussion piece evoking Africa. 15:35 in. 22:38 in. 41:58 in. "Amsterdam Kill" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tQDciX226U Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:27 in. 9:31 in. 13:55 in. 28:07 in. 29:55 in. And the cue after the commercial break. 39:30 in. 45:10 in. "To Kill a Legend" By: J.A.C. Redford https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rxCyaCt70U (the episode is edited down some) This is Redford's only effort for the series. Highlights: 0:47 in. 26:29 in. 29:50/40:54/42:00/43:07 in. Once again on another TV series I find myself saying: It would have been nice if Redford had scored more episodes. "Death in Hawaii" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sleZ2A2iQYw (the episode is edited down some) Highlights: 0:47 in. 18:00 in. Including some action-y percussion work for chumming and an impending shark attack. 24:44 in. Including some percussion work. And the cue after the commercial break. 32:00 in. 34:20 in. 38:12/39:17 in. 42:02 in. Guest-starring Robert Duncan McNeill. About a year before "Star Trek: Voyager" premiered. 35:40 in: Will they stop fucking blinking all the time? It's so annoying! "Dear Deadly" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8t5KYixXIwc (the episode is edited down some) Highlights: 16:07 in. 26:10 in. Guest-starring John Ryhs Davies. ALREADY COVERED AS A ONE-OFF. "The Murder Channel" By: Peter T. Meyers "Fatal Paradise" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lmQpKGh8bw (I assume it's edited down, since there is no pre-credits scenes showing what will happen in the episode) Highlights: 0:47 in. Included not because of the opening, but the fun spirited tropical island piece it goes into about a minute into it. 23:56 in. Tropical island source piece. 25:28 in. 40:10 in. About 45:20 in. Short outtro cue, only because it's done like a tropical island-sounding piece. "Crimson Harvest" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbk_E_m083E (I assume it's edited down, since there is no pre-credits scenes showing what will happen in the episode) Highlights: 0:47 in. 2:03 in. 7:09 in. 17:57 in. 25:27 in. 44:46 in. "Murder by Twos" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQh1SQa9hps (I assume it's edited down, since there is no pre-credits scenes showing what will happen in the episode; and part of the opening credits) Highlights: 9:41 in. 14:35 in. 44:54 in. "Murder of the Month Club" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25LLKfA1_x4 (I assume it's edited down, since there is no pre-credits scenes showing what will happen in the episode) Highlights: 31:25 in. "An Egg to Die For" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV8w9oXTX4Q (I assume it's edited down, since there is no pre-credits scenes showing what will happen in the episode) Highlights: 1:46 in. "The Scent of Murder" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oht8_NQLCY4 (I assume it's edited down, since there is no pre-credits scenes showing what will happen in the episode) Highlights: 2:33 in. About 7:35 in. 43:00 in. "Death 'N Denial" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zijf3xnzhZs Highlights: 0:47 in. 3:22 in. 12:35 in. 14:29 in. 16:06 in. Guest-starring Jeri Ryan. This score was nominated for an Emmy (personally, I don't get it, he's done better for the show). The other contenders that year: "Seaquest: DSV" Episode: "Daggers" Composer: Don Davis WINNER "Star Trek: Voyager" Episode: "Caretaker: Part 1" Composer: Jay Chattaway (What? Didn't this air as a TV movie length pilot, broken up only later for re-runs?) "Star Trek: Voyager" Episode: "Heroes and Demons" Composer: Dennis McCarthy (Note: Not covered on Volume 1 from La La Land Records; presumably this will have covered on a future volume) "The Simpsons" Episode: "Treehouse of Horror V" Composer: Alf Clausen "Twice Dead" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ5zPg8shio Highlights: 11:55 in. "Film Flam" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxpXYCiHz9w Highlights: 19:34 in. 24:41/32:25 in. "Murder a la Mode" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj3GMckpvcA Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:56 in. 11:46 in. 36:40 in. Modeling stage show music. For the guys here: 12:25 in. You're welcome. "The Dream Team" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r26-VhumoA Highlights: 2:05 in. 22:25 in. 33:07 in. 35:18 in. 36:38 in. 38:20 in. "School for Murder" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkGcaVNF9as Highlights: 3:27 in. If I were compiling a set of season eleven scoring, I'd skip this episode score. "Another Killing in Cork" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8QItKmbivM Highlights: 0:47 in. 15:04 in. 20:02 in. 24:43 in. 33:53 in. 36:10 in. About 39:00 in. 45:20 in. Another Irish-sounding score. Seems everytime they go back to Ireland, they get Babcock to score it since he was nominated for an Emmy for the episode "The Wind Around the Tower". "Game, Set, Murder" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-fzQo5Vr9o Highlights: 14:56 in. 22:56 in. 24:24 in. 31:38/26:06 in. Yeah, I think they work together in reverse; just have a beat in between them and keep going. Holy moly, I looked Angela up and she's almost a hundred years old and still acting! Not too much, of course. About six years away from being a century old.

Okay, I had more time than I thought I would, so I finished off the remaining three episodes and added them to the above post.

SEASON 12:
"Nailed" By: Steve Dorff No link provided since I didn't cite anything. Highlights: Nothing. Guest-starring the guy who played Elaine's boss on "Seinfeld". Obviously, if I were compiling a set of season twelve scoring, I'd skip this episode score. "A Quaking in Aspen" By: Jeff Sturges No link provided since I didn't cite anything. Highlights: Nothing. Obviously, if I were compiling a set of season twelve scoring, I'd skip this episode score. "The Secret of Gila Junction" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3sGt_ZHXjQ Highlights: 0:00 in. Country-fried music. 1:20 in. Country-fried music. 12:15 in. Indian music. 13:47 in. 25:24 in. 44:44 in. For the guys here: 7:09 in. You're welcome. "Big Easy Murder" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8zcUWGA_3M Highlights: 0:47 in. A mainly percussion piece. 37:53 in. "Home Care" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_qIxtfdOgw Highlights: 2:35 in. Lovely, but short cue. "Nan's Ghost: Part 1" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJTbiXS9c-o Highlights: 1:31 in. Strings, church bells, and some kind of woodwind to score a "ghost". Then some Irish music. 18:12 in. 20:58 in. 22:53 in. 36:42 in. 43:55 in. 45:55 in. Yup, they just can't stop going to Ireland on the show. Over and over and over again. Now a two-parter in Ireland! "Nan's Ghost: Part 2" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziALm2YxVjk Highlights: 2:36 in. 5:23 in. 10:25 in. Joining a cue already in progress. 13:49 in. 22:49 in. 33:12 in. 37:48 in. 40:40 in. "Shooting in Rome" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WruG_gBlAcs Highlights: 0:45 in. 1:51 in. 14:24 in. 19:27 in. 26:01 in. 29:12 in. 33:37 in. They might as well re-name the series, at this point: "Where in the World is Jessica Fletcher?" "Deadly Bidding" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNujO7dn3ig Highlights: 1:19 in. 24:57 in. This is the final appearance of Wayne Rogers as Charlie Garrett. That's five episodes. I suspect they wanted to get him a spin-off, but it never happened. "Frozen Stiff" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kvf2PunVMGw Highlights: 1:19 in. 5:25 in. 14:33 in. 39:41 in. Joining a cue already in progress. 44:02 in. That's nearly the entire score. Guest-starring Larry Linville, who was not looking well at the time; kind of frail and time had not bee kind to him. "Kendo Killing" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz9Za6jordQ Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:19 in. 2:58 in. 21:00 in. And the cue after the commercial break. 26:53 in. 30:54 in. 44:30 in. That's most of the score. Guest-starring Pat Morita. "Where in the World in Jessica Fletcher?" continues. "Death Goes Double Platinum" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGLM-MmSzqw Highlights: 1:19 in. The instrumental music only for the song, if recorded separately. 13:55 in. Guest-starring Jason Bernard, an underrated actor. "Murder in Tempo" By: Jeff Sturges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lPRu5XYaL4 Highlights: 6:12 in. 16:46 in. Continues after the commercial break, but sadly not written in a way where the cues can be combined. 24:14 in. "The Dark Side of the Door" By: Allyn Ferguson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gZUSUtTiT4 This is Ferguson's only effort for the series. It's also one of the last things he scored. Highlights: 0:00 in. 7:11 in. 40:49 in. Guest-starring Kristie Alley, briefly. "Murder Among Friends" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oLeUu3N_UE Highlights: 1:19 in. Actually parodying the opening theme (without words) to "Friends". The closing cue is in a similar vein, too. 13:53 in. 25:58 in. 35:15/40:05 in. 42:14 in. "Something Foul in Flappieville" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STPupyleSh8 Highlights: 0:00 in. "Track of a Soldier" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dgfWsh_vp4 Highlights: 0:47 in. 9:59 in. 12:31 in. 18:39 in. 29:01 in. 43:00 in. Joining a cue in progress for more of that good lower octave piano stuff; the rest is good, too. "Evidence of Malice" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyC6tRUKNaY Highlights: 1:22 in. 23:13/29:44 in. 29:54 in. "Southern Double-Cross" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7HypWYqMoo Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:19 in. 8:21 in. 24:43 in. 34:00 in. 35:30 in. 37:15 in. 40:57 in. That's most of the score. "Where in the World in Jessica Fletcher?" continues. "Race to Death" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MmdQ64SF5k Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:24 in. Boat racing music. 2:25 in. About 9:57 in. Joining a cue already in progress for that brief upbeat material. There's some more at the end of 42:00 11:07 in. 42:00 in. 44:51 in. "What You Don't Know Can Kill You" By: Bruce Babcock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTbFE0A6Mq4 Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:20 in. 12:36 in. 18:03 in. 20:19 in. 22:09 in. 26:41 in. 36:27 in. 42:21 in. That's most of the score. While Buffy Summers was shunning cellphones until the last seasons and only in sometimes did she use one, Jessica Fletcher has no problem asking for one and using it. "Mrs. Parker's Revenge" By: Steve Dorff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWbPoMomyj0 Highlights: 0:00 in. 1:20 in. 10:21 in. Not like any scoring in the show before. 12:33 in. 14:04 in. 20:12/23:11 in. 30:40 in. 33:28 in. 35:50 in. 40:25 in. 42:00 in. Guest-starring Tony Todd "Fifteen million dollars is what it's worth and shut up." (to Jessica) "Death by Demographics" (series finale) By: Jeff Sturges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of-SXuKgBbc Highlights: 16:10 in. Guest-starring David Ogden Stiers. And Robert Pine (the captain from "CHiPs"). 34:40 in: Can't you just hear that as an argument between Roger and Ebert? Stiers' character: "You dolt! You're a cultural sinkhole, you're a troglodyte!" I did a quick look for some of the TV movies again, yesterday, and there's at least one up, so tomorrow I'll try to do it and any others that are up.

TV MOVIES:
"Murder, She Wrote: The Last Free Man" By: Stanley Clarke https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pc5x7AQf5U (in Russian) Highlights: 2:15 in. About 26:25 in. Joining a cue already in progress. 37:55 in. 58:36 in. 1:11:57 in. 1:13:30 in. Guest-starring David Ogden Stiers. He got to be in the last episode of the series and the second-to-last TV movie. The end credits are cut off, so I can't say if the Addison theme was used, otherwise I didn't spot it anywhere in the score. None of this score needs to be released. That was the only TV movie I could find up.

Continuing SEASON 1:
Another episode of the spin-off series, "The Law and Harry McGraw", popped up a few months ago. "Solve it Again, Harry" By: Richard Markowitz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b36suUhxvLE (with commercials) Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:54 in. 5:17/6:17 in. 11:28 in. 22:29 in. 28:44 in. 35:24 in. 43:01 in. 50:17 in. 50:55 in. 54:52 in. Something happened in about the last five minutes of the video and all the sounds shifted to the left. Sorry, can't help it. As for "Murder, She Wrote", if it's a YouTube video I linked to, you can pretty much assume it's been deleted since I started the thread
