THE BALLAD OF RICHARD JEWELL---Sam Rockwell will co-star in the Clint Eastwood movie about Richard Jewell, the security guard who was falsely accused of being a suspect in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics bombing. Rockwell will play Jewell's attorney.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD---poster released for the Quentin Tarantino movie.

DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD---Legendary Television DUNE tv series underway that is a spinoff of the Denis Villeneuve remake movie. It will focus on Bene Gesserit, the ancient order of women. Villeneuve, who will direct the pilot, said, “The Bene Gesserit have always been fascinating to me. Focusing a series around that powerful order of women seemed not only relevant and inspiring but a dynamic setting for the television series.”

CAPTAIN AMERICA---Joe Russo hinted there may be more Captain America adventures in the future, “The time travel rules that we’re playing with are that you can create a time branch which is sort of an alternate timeline based on an interruption of a timeline. So, it’s very different from BACK TO THE FUTURE which is linear. The tricky part is that you’re going against 30 years of film and television narrative convention.”
He added, “But what’s interesting about it, and savvy people may come to ask is: how is old Cap is in this timeline at the end of the movie?”

SANDRA BULLOCK---Amazon dramedy tv series underway inspired by the college years of Sandra Bullock who attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina from 1982-1986.

THE DARK TOWER---Michael Rooker will co-star in the Amazon tv series based on the Stephen King books in an undisclosed role.

GLOW---Geena Davis will be a recurring guest star playing Sandy Devereaux St. Clair, the entertainment director for the Las Vegas Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino.

JACK REACHER---the tv series based on the novels will be faithful to the title character who is tall, blond and muscular which was not the way he was played in the Tom Cruise movies.

STAR WARS---Mark Hamill talked about getting fired when he was a struggling actor working in a Hollywood Jack in the Box, "I was always trying to find the theatrical aspects of it. I was in the back all the time, making shakes and manning the grill, and I always aspired to work the [drive-thru] window. The one chance I had at it — it never occurred to me to not be in character." Hamill did a clownish impression of Jack the mascot, "My manager didn't think it was very funny. He told me to go home and never come back. I got fired. Fired! For being in character!"

FAST COMPANY---AMC/Daniel Dae Kim tv series underway based on the play about con artists who reunite after a failed scam.

CHIP 'N DALE---new Disney+ tv series underway based on the cartoon chipmunks.

TRIVIA---in LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, a F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter attacks the tractor-trailer driven by John McClane (Bruce Willis). The F-35 pilot is director Len Wiseman.

I can finally tell all those people that I see every day that talk about how much they want to see a tv show about the Dune priestesses that their prayers have been answered.

Uh, what a minute..

I love it. Absolutely hate the Photoshop monstrosities we've gotten over the last 15 years. (with a few exceptions) My only criticism are the three big heads looking straight ahead, I would've aliened them differently. But I'd put that on my wall for sure.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD---poster released for the Quentin Tarantino movie.

I'd like to commission a poster in this style for Hell Into Belfast (1973). I already have my "vision" for said poster's layout.
