From Roger: "Premiere CD release of a great horror/sci-fi score from earlier this year. Very prolific composer and new to the Intrada label."

I was guessing McCreary's Happy Death Day 2U. Though I don't actually remember the score at all.

Any chance of Christopher Young's Pet Sematary?

seems to fit the bill, although I'd prefer Rim Of The World. Still, more McCreary on CD is a good thing
Rim of the World is Netflix production. Intrada has no relationship with them, like they do with Universal/Backlot.

0%, Roger specifically said the composer is new to Intrada in his clue.

Happy Death Day 2U (which is definitely sci-fi as well as horror) sounded right except for the "new to Intrada" clue. Didn't they do one of his early direct-to-video horrors, or am I just confusing them with La-La Land? And "prolific" does sound more like McCreary than West Dylan Thordson (Glass).

Cool. I'm very happy that both Intrada and Quartet are making some of Backlot's digital-only scores available on CD.

I am VERY pleased if it's HAPPY DEATH DAY 2U, 'cos I enjoyed the shit out of that film and the score. And it is absolutely sci-fi. In fact, for almost the entire second act, it pretty much forgets it's a horror movie.

My hopes were on "Rim of the World" as well !! Any new Bear release is welcome of course, but... if only it was "Rim of the World", dammit...
