They distort historical facts to the point it's a total lie. I get a script may have to condense or fudge a few things for the sake of filming the drama but this is ridiculous. I read part of the discussion and it looks like he is Total BS.

For those that don't actually care to watch the video and get the full context of his arguments I'll give a brief. And I'm paraphrasing since I don't feel like doing a transcript. In the mini-series they claim in the worst case scenario, neighboring cities like Minsk would be leveled from a Chernobyl melt down. They insinuated Chernobyl could go thermal nuclear. Nuclear power plants can't go thermal nuclear though they will melt down. And even if Chernobyl went thermal nuclear even in the worse case scenario, the neighboring cities are so far away they probably wouldn't even noticed any effects of such an explosion.
There are many books on the subject. If I cared I would check them out. No one should rely on docudrama for the 'real story's.
Except a lot of people do which is why the filmmakers have a responsibility to either say their story is totally fictional or stay as close to the facts as possible.
