SPIDER-MAN---Marvel Comics released a video announcing JJ Abrams and his son, Henry, will write a five-issue Spider-Man comic book with artist Sara Pichelli.

STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER---Mark Hamill hinted he might return in THE RISE OF SKYWALKER as a ghost, "... I had closure in the last one. The fact that I'm involved in any capacity is only because of that peculiar aspect of STAR WARS mythology where if you're a Jedi you get to come back. Make a curtain call as a Force ghost."
HALLOWEEN---the sequel is expected to start filming after Labor Day with a premiere on October 16, 2020.
GREMLINS---Joe Dante was asked about the WarnerMedia animated tv series which focuses on the younger days of Mr. Wing and Mogwai Gizmo, "Well, I wouldn’t know because I’m sort of persona non grata in the GREMLINS group. I think they were very unhappy with what I did with GREMLINS 2 and I think they’re trying to find ways to undo it and they’re discovering that it’s not as easy as they thought."
Dante also commented on GREMLINS prequels, "'...the discussions that I’ve had with people about doing prequels have always been about with the origin of Gizmo. Where does the Mogwai come from? And I think that it always leads back to China. And for a while, there was some interest because the people wanted to get into the Chinese market, and they thought, “We could get Chinese talent and shoot it partly in China.” But I think that the Chinese are not big on certain kinds of fantasy, and I’m not sure that this would really float their boat."'
WALDO---Morena Baccarin will co-star in the movie starring Charle Hunnam, Mel Gibson and Eiza Gonzalez in which a disgraced ex-LAPD detective investigates the murder of a tv star's wife.
BLACK WIDOW---Ray Winstone will co-star in the Scarlett Johansson movie in an undisclosed role.
JAWS---the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures announced that the shark prop, "Bruce", used in Steven Spielberg's classic JAWS, has been "fully transformed". Only the teeth and eyes are remaining. The Museum is not expected to open before the 92nd Academy awards on February 2, 2020.
BLISS---Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson star in this Amazon Studios sci fi movie about a man who meets a woman living on the street who believes their bleak, polluted world is really a simulation inside a real, beautiful world.
THE SHRINKING OF TREEBORN---Ron Howard will direct this animated movie based on the book about, “a young man who begins shrinking in size after playing a strange board game, which goes largely unnoticed by his parents.”
TRIVIA---trivia for June 21, the first day of summer.

SPIDER-MAN---Marvel Comics released a video announcing JJ Abrams and his son, Henry, will write a five-issue Spider-Man comic book with artist Sara Pichelli.
JJ killed Star Trek, Star Wars, soon to kill WB properties and now going to kill Spider-Man. He's a fracking menace to the universe.
I wouldn't worry about Spider-Man. This is a mini-series that will likely be a forgotten vanity project within a few months after the final issue is released. There will be plenty of other Spider-Man comics being released the same time this comes out.
