Yeah I'd already checked out his IMDb. It's just surprising to me (even though now I know he's only a couple decades younger than Riddle), that Mark (X-Files, including the current iteration) Snow wrote the pilot score for a show that was later scored by Nelson (60s Batman) Riddle. Yavar

SEASON 6:
"Schedule One" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxA15cAzwIs Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:54 in. 23:13/25:20/28:00 (there are some brief lulls in the cue)/39:06 in. "Culture Clash" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xudJfMx2eng Highlights: 0:00 in. 14:34/25:06 in. 27:02 in. 40:19 in. "Sorry, Right Number" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kt-X4HJIlk Highlights: 27:11 in. 32:46/33:54/35:52/44:55 in. "Disenfranchised" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCn7x6hQj8c Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. A cue that starts out with child-like innocents, then starts to turn dark. 3:35 in. 12:16 in. 14:50 in. Upbeat but restrained brief montage cue. 20:30/26:06 in. 30:04 in. 44:09 in. I think I cited every cue, so I might as well say the whole score should be released. I've said it before, but I got to say it again: Mr. Ramin is a really talented composer. NO LOAD FOUND. "Role Call" By: Dana Kaproff "The Zealot" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJAmvLaJ4i8 Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. 13:42 in. 15:48 in. 20:47 in. 45:53 in. I think I cited every cue, so I might as well say the whole score should be released. "The Marathon" By: John Debney https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgxfdRDUV4M This is Debney's only effort for the series. Highlights: 2:02 in. 13:07 in. 16:41 in. 20:35 in. 25:00/26:30 in. Short fast-paced spirited montage cue. The next one is similar (in the opening) and would naturally go together. 29:44/31:22 in. And after the commercial break. 38:28 in. 39:19 in. 45:30 in. That's most of the score. At the time he was doing a lot of Disney stuff, even Winnie the Pooh. Sing along! Yes it is true, he was scoring the Pooh, every day at Disney corner. "Rites of Passage" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyOCBg_8jhA Highlights: 0:00 in. 6:57 in. 10:00 in. 35:00 in. 38:52 in. 43:52 in. 46:32 in. "Revenge" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvbjRkyxPbw Highlights: 6:33 in. 11:05 in. 17:18 in. 20:39 in. 35:54 in. About 42:40 in. 46:16 in. "The Rapist: Part 2" By: Shirley Walker https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn2xy8Pn358 This is Walker's final effort for the series. Highlights: 7:34/8:01 in. 30:05 in. 31:19 in. 40:54 in. 43:26 in. 44:33 in. 46:55 in. Yeah, it's a short outro cue, but it's nice. That's everything except two short cues. It's good, but it's not a top tier effort. Maybe a borderline second tier effort. Nothing says "Christmas" like an episode about a rapist. Copied from my "The Shirley Walker Odyssey" thread: https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=124520&forumID=1&archive=0 "Cost of Living" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3SpbdX82Hw Highlights: 0:00 in. 15:00 in. 6:49 in. 22:40 in. 34:24 in. 36:38 in. "Waste Deep" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHFhrNaZMsU Highlights: 2:02 in. 32:10 in. 33:48 in. 36:48/38:58 in. 46:28 in. "Ahead of the Game" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmuAcq3aFYE Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. I'd probably skip this one on a set of season six scoring. 15:42 in. 39:28 in. 44:30 in. "Easy Does It" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgy5qddC8Ac Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. 12:49 in. 15:55 in. 28:47 in. 34:14 in. 40:32 in. 45:55/46:47 in. "To Sir, with Love" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce48chKexNY Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:13/3:58/6:41/13:50/30:05/31:15/34:12/44:22 in. 16:54 in. 42:09 in. I think I cited all the whole score (minus source pieces), so I might as well say the whole score should be released. The multiple examples one works in order, surprisingly, so it could be a suite. "Divine Couriers" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qRVnGntXfU Highlights: 0:00 in. 28:47/30:41 in. 39:30 in. 45:19 in. Old Despost: "I may be a Marxist, but a buck is a buck." SEASON 7:
This is the final season of the show. "No Vacancy" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpMJggJJP8o Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. Strings and solo piano, with some woodwinds. 7:29 in. 11:39 in. Brass huffs, snare and solo trumpet for a whimsical cue. 17:24/41:43 in. 44:19 in. "The City Is Burning" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRx1p1sytQw Highlights: 2:02 in. 7:40 in. "Loves Me Not" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rePdH5vvS5w Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. Mainly piano, flute, and cello. 11:00 in. 43:43 in. "Different Drummer" By: Nan Schwartz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7DFXHIRPm8 Highlights: 2:02 in. 17:46 in. 27:54/37:35 in. 45:43 in. "You've Come a Long Way, Baby" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTOHP7nNwfM Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. Something completely different. 29:19 in. Bumper music. "Video Verite" There is no score in the episode, so no composer is credited. It looks like with this episode, there is now a shorter opening credits theme; thirty-nine seconds.
"Greed" By: Nan Schwartz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvH1VGxlv0Q Highlights: 0:39 in. 2:28 in. Short. 36:28 in. Short. "Secrets" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6pm8_7hUGs (part of the pre-credits scenes are missing, si I can't cite the music as a highlight if it was worth it) The longer opening credits are back. Highlights: 1:34 in. The solo harp restaurant source music. 18:48 in. 24:02 in. 31:37 in.* * = The Christmas episode "Play it Again, Santa", I forgot to mention, featured sudden soap-opera-like aging of the Lacey kids. Just look how old the oldest is now. Geez. Hey, look, it took seven season for another woman to use the women's restroom other than Cagney and Lacey. "Don't I Know You?" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emrbcERTFqc Highlights: 0:00 in. 6:45 in. 22:53 in. 32:03 in. "Shadow of a Doubt " By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKl4YiOc-a0 ( Highlights: 2:02 in. I love these bouncy feel-good cues Kaproff (and Ramin) do, especially opening the episodes like that. 7:29 in. 15:17 in. 24:40 in. 34:22 in. 44:57 in. "Hello Goodbye" By: Nan Schwartz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcQ7tPFMujs This is Schwartz's final episodic effort for the TV series. Highlights: 20:35 in. 34:22 in. 44:03 in. "School Daze" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMDc7JoA_V4 Highlights: 2:02 in. 6:13 in. 12:39 in. And the short cue after the commercial break. 18:12 in. Lacey: "I had a dream about Paul Newman once." "Land of the Free" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGxOmdW0q7g Highlights: 0:00 in. 35:44 in. If I were compiling a set of season seven scoring, I'd skip this episode score and make room for better stuff, or more stuff from earlier seasons. "A Class Act" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H_Sa7pROt0 Highlights: 2:02 in. 4:41 in. 19:39/22:40 in. 26:14 in. 39:44 in. 45:28 in. "Button, Button" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0qJDKlaOCM Highlights: 0:00 in. 2:02 in. 24:38 in. 33:05 in. 39:39 in. 42:55/44:41 in. "Amends" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJyj2lm3xJw Highlights: 0:00 in. 12:13 in. 30:58 in. 43:52 in. That's it for today. I'll finish season seven tomorrow and start the TV movies (if any are up).

Continuing SEASON 7:
"Friendly Fire" By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1DSgU3AgAc Highlights: 0:00 in. Featuring a Rosenman tone pyramid at the end. 33:35 in. 45:09 in. 46:21 in. I think that was all the score, so I might as well say the complete score should be released. "Yup" By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XavmaZ8Rsg0 Highlights: 0:00 in. 14:30 in. 23:07/37:06 in. 41:49 in. 44:28 in. "A Fair Shake: Part 2" (series finale) By: Ron Ramin Highlights: 1:30 in. 12:32 in. 14:12 in. 15:22 in. 16:58 in. 20:25 in. 22:43/26:26 in. 28:55 in. 32:50 in. 46:20 in. There's a lot of action music in this episode. Time well spent, listening to all this wonderful music!

TV MOVIES:
One disappointing aspect back then with TV movies of series that had ended years prior, was most or all the composers not being from the show and usually cheap and crappy sounding. All these TV movies were scored by composers from the series! And a number of crew members from the series also worked on these, such and editors and a music supervisor. "Cagney & Lacey: The Return" (1994) By: Dana Kaproff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HhynwkKhd0 This is Kaproff's final effort for the C&L anything. Highlights: 9:34 in. 12:38 in. 25:50 in. The plucky upbeat music doesn't sounds the same with synths. 50:10 in. 55:00 in. 1:18:12 in. 1:31:46 in. The synths bring the score down. Over all it's not on the same level as Kaproff's work on the series. Note: I could not find this on ASCAP or BMI, so I don't know if there was any help on the score. "Cagney & Lacey: Together Again" (1995) By: Nan Schwartz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZKYITlapaU This is Schwartz's final effort for the C&L anything. Highlights: 1:32 in. About 3:45 in. There's so much SFX, I'm not sure when it began. 22:05 in. 1:22:02 in. 1:30:49 in. This one actually uses Conti's theme music for the end credits. Note: No additional composers on ASCAP or BMI. "Cagney & Lacey: The View Through the Glass Ceiling" (1995) By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYuaY0chyBs Highlights: 0:00 in. 7:02 in. 12:39 in. 15:55 in. 18:33 in. 38:42 in. 48:34 in. Sounds like a Mark Snow cue from "The X-Files". About 1:12:30 in. 1:17:58 in. 1:24:53 in. 1:28:42 in. Leads into the lovely end credits, which is not the Conti theme. Note: I could not find this on ASCAP or BMI, so I don't know if there was any help on the score. "Cagney & Lacey: True Convictions" (1996) By: Ron Ramin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW5uJovNJNY And Ramin gets the honors of doing the last original-series C&L project. Highlights: 0:00 in. 4:10 in. 31:09 in. 45:39 in. 47:52 in. 59:32 in. 1:18:29 in. 1:25:31 in. 1:30:07 in. Followed by the lovely end credits piece (not the Conti theme). Note: I could not find this on ASCAP or BMI, so I don't know if there was any help on the score. REMAKE PILOT:
In 2018 a pilot for a new series based off the old series, aired in September, but did not get picked up. The score has not been released. There are no samples on his website. Just like when you look at the cast of the "Magnum, pi" reboot and say to yourself, "What the fuck?", you get the same thing with this pilot. "Cagney and Lacey" By: Alex Heffes No video was found.

ADDITIONAL/UNCREDITED/STOCK MUSIC COMPOSERS:

Terri Fricon and Leland Bond. (Fricon was a music supervisor on the series) Mark Wood and Laria Louis. Kevin Knelman. (also says so on his website; also listed with Patricia Knelman) Jeff La Bansky.
