I just bought Grusin's 1984 album Night-Lines for a buck on LP. Some really nice tracks there for a synth fan like me, like Power Wave, St Elsewhere and the title track.

I know very little about Grusin's stuff, so I ask: What other albums/scores by him are in this style?

Theme from St Elsewhere:

He experimented with synths on the scores for the feature films “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter” and “The Mad Room” (which i hope gets a C.D. release) and the theme for the television series The Name Of The Game”.

Late 60s stuff...I doubt it sounds much like St Elsewhere.

Most notably, there's his all-electronic Lucas. Pretty interesting effort. Varese released it forever ago, but it's hard to find now.

Check out "Cinemagic" that to me is the best album after "Nightlines" . Has 14 tracks from movies re-recorded in a style similar to the one you like.
Then "Migration" that has some electronics but is mainly jazzy.
