I know. We post this question now and then because the search engine won't pull up TG's topic. Hope he pulls it up soon. I'm anxious to read more limericks!

Interesting. When one does a search, one cannot "Search Within" any 2019 posts. The latest is 2018. Hmmm.

It should have been, but I don’t think it was.

This board is like The Twilight Zone.

Wherever it was, I suspect it's now like Clementine: lost and gone forever.

All my limericks I have stored elsewhere, but the flow & mutual amusement of the thread was more than the sum of its stanzas – especially those early ones (long before my time on the board) by folks who aren't necessarily around here any more :-/

It must be there on a google search.
Its just hiding.

I've tried googling, binging, duckduckgoing, asking Jeeves and trawling the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. :-P
Lots of them return a result that looks like it's going to be it ... but when you click through it just takes you to the 'Non-Film Score Discussion' forum list page.

We found one limerick thread started by McCrud over on Gen disc but DiB says it isnt the one.

The other is the film score haiku and ive bumped that on gen disc

Yeah, I know; he's right. That one's called something like 'the limerick thread', and the one that's lost is called something like 'the ORIGINAL film score limerick thread!' and was much longer.

Yes dtw, you are correct. TG started "The Original film score limerick thread." It is a great thread, but I could never find it. TG brought it back now and then, but now it eludes him too. There is only one way I can think of, and that take time. In our profiles, there is a place to click to "View threads with posts by this user." That might bring it up, but it takes time.

No, well that never worked for me in the first place – and I think somebody else (may even have been DiB) commented on the thread itself to the same effect.

Was that particular thread locked for some reason? Or are locked threads still accessible anyway?

It wasn't locked. It was GRAND thread with great limericks. Below is the URL that I copied from Google, but I don't think it will work.

https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?pageID=6...7&threadID...1

Didn't work. Just said File or directory not found.

The Original Limerick Thread,
Started by Tall Guy, now dead.
