A friend of mine suspects that Oliver Nelson's master tapes for "The Six Million Dollar Man" were lost in the 2008 Universal fire. Despite the fact that no one has watched this show in forty years, and despite the fact that no one has ever owned a shred of music from the series, it is clear that a protest is called for. I want to identify the best day and location. I was thinking about this coming Monday, but there is rain in the forecast, and I'm not sure if everyone can get there by then. Tuesday is supposed to have high humidity, so that's out. I'm also looking for the ideal location. I would like to choose a street with a reasonable number of restaurants, preferably with nouvelle cuisine, vegetarian options, gluten-free substitutions, and full liquor licenses. In the absence of the latter, an extensive wine list will suffice. I'm open to your suggestions. This is a cultural loss of tremendous magnitude, and we film score fans need to make our voices heard. Incidentally, MCA likely trashed the masters of Oliver Nelson's masterpiece "The Blues and the Abstract Truth" decades ago, but that is really not worth protesting over. I welcome your input.

That would be hugely disappointing, if true. But there may be archived back ups, dupes, and the estate of the late composer may have tapes, so there may not be much loss. But if we hold a riot, nobody is going to care.

And a month or two ago he also said they have some exciting television projects in the works from Universal.

There will need to be at least twelve of us so we can constitute a swarm. "This place is swarming with Nerds!"
