"Savage Sunday" By: Lalo Schifrin https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2lwutp Highlights: 19:02 in. 43:29 in. About 44:30 in. For the guys here: 29:15 in. You're welcome. "Texas Longhorn" By: J.J. Cool. 40:42 in. I know, it's blasphemy to say, but Lowe has done a better job in one episode than Schifrin has done in the above two. This score is covered in suites #1 and #2 for the composer: "The Fix" By: Lalo Schifrin https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2m9fzs This is the final effort by Schifrin for the series. Assuming this isn't classical music. 26:07 in.* 27:18 in. 35:42 in. 40:05 in. 42:28 in. * = Am I the only one who burst out laughing at the ridiculous running with a cape out scene? For the guys here: 19:23 in. You're welcome. "Vendetta" By: Shorty Rogers https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2q37js Sony purchase link: Link not found. Highlights: 28:08 in. 30:45 in. Joining a cue already in progress. Including the super rare appearance of a water chime in a score to an episode of a TV series. 13:14 in: Chris Farley in drag alert. (yeah, just looks like him from that SNL skit...) Prisoner: "Not if cows gave beer, my friends." "Little Girl Lost" By: Shorty Rogers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc5fqT9WWpw Sony purchase link: Link not found. Highlights: 1:12 in. Funky Christmas music. 6:08 in. 11:10 in. 21:38 in. 25:04 in. 28:57 in. 30:14 in. 40:00/42:19 in. That's most of the score. Little Girl: "Aw, what's that -- your Barnaby Jones act? My Bullshit Detector went off when both cars went off at the same time, even though there was only one bomb... "Survival" By: Andrew Kulberg https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2rkh8p Sony purchase link: Link not found. Highlights: 3:34 in. Simple but cool. 7:32 in. 13:25 in. 17:44 in. 32:57 in. 39:18 in. About 44:03 in. Joining a cue already in progress for good stuff. Kulberg had, looking over this IMDb credits, a short scoring career. In fact, if you take all the episodes he did for this series, it's just over half his listed credits! Make you wonder why some composers during that era took off and others like him and (for example) Thomas Talbert, ever took off. This is Scott's final effort. Highlights: 10:12 in. 18:58 in. 32:47 in. 43:41 in. That's all of season two. Season 3, tomorrow, will bring in repeat composers, a one-off, and Alan Silvestri.

There are no loads for season three, so I had to skip ahead. Well, there might be if I count ones broken up into parts, but I have no idea how many are up... "Discomania" By: Andrew Kulberg Disco Arrangements By: Eric Scott and Peter McIna (is Eric related to Tom Scott?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSMIYarukMM I'll stipulate in advance I want all the disco music. So I won't cite them. Highlights: 3:00 in. "The Game" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3yMperL9KQ Highlights: 1:16 in. 2:31 in. 8:57 in. About 44:13 in. Some down-home country feelin' sound for this episode score. "Oh, my gears..." "Strange Justice" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtmEiOILgig Highlights: 3:00 in. The disco source music. 8:02 in. 23:29 in. 33:10 in. 38:30 in. 46:59 in. "The Avenger" By: Jack Elliott & Allyn Ferguson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z42qbGfzcY Highlights: 1:15 in. The disco club disco source music. 15:32 in. More disco source music. 18:35 in. joining a cue already in progress. 21:30 in. Yet more disco source music. 26:52 in. Chinese-flavored disco-light music. 43:29 in. "Dandruff" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmCqqubtVO4 Highlights: 1:16 in. 5:48 in. 8:34 in. And the disco source music that immediately follows. 13:14 in. 17:45 in. 41:28 in. A few minutes of James Bond-esque lightly disco flavored music for this bizarre and parody-ish spy episode. 47:57 in. Short outtro cue. "Black and Blue" By: Mundell Lowe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMFKJqKxHNM Highlights: 1:15 in. About 5:17 in. Joining a cue already in progress. 24:46 in. 33:39 in. [n]Nurse: "Let's be grateful for six inches, ay?" "The Groupie" By: Shorty Rogers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsQkAyMMiKI Highlights: 1:16 in. 2:54 in. 6:03 in. 10:50 in. Disco source music. And this is for the guys here... 14:44 in. 23:07 in. 31:01 in. 33:50 in. And the disco source music that follows. Sure am having to say "disco" a lot this season! 38:40 in. 39:57 in. The disco-ish lounge club source music. 40:54 in. The disco source music. 42:05 in. "Cover Girl" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-FZnsgRr1E Highlights: 7:53 in. 14:22 in. 41:01 in. 45:24 in. "Starsky's Brother" By: Alan Silvestri Score suite #1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bZFd6WOcQQ Score suite #2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8a0MLYKtbs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4ELCQYtvck Highlights: 11:55 in. The disco source music for the club. 38:33 in. "The Golden Angel" By: Murray MacLeod and J.A.C. Redford https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klTFX5lmnPk Highlights: 1:17 in. 6:20 in. 30:51 in. 44:54 in. 46:17 in. "Ballad for a Blue Lady" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WNMZyZeYEw Highlights: 18:50 in. 27:26 in. "Birds of a Feather" By: Tommy Vig https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x772a3o This is Vig's only effort for the series. Highlights: 11:54 in. 15:50 in. 20:27 in. 22:08 in. 24:12 in. 25:42 in. 32:40/34:25 in. 36:33 in. 40:37 in. 42:56 in. 44:46 in. That's pretty much the entire score. Based on this episode score, I would have liked to heard him score more, which probably would have happened if the series had come back for another season. Vig was a musician who also played on other composer's scores, as well as doing a tiny bit of composer for film and television. "Ninety Pounds of Trouble" By: Bill Marx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_2ZPEGdZSw Score suite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogfOWh5sN1U This is Marx's only effort for the series. Highlights: 1:16 in. 5:53 in. 25:52 in. 33:55 in. 35:32 in. "Huggy Can't Go Home" By: Andrew Kulberg and Chris Michie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nYkuGVZrOE Highlights: 2:34 in. 5:39/7:03 in. 25:16 in. 29:57 in. Original music and lyrics by: Jac Murphy Sung by: Dr. John (17:46 in -- for thsoe who want to hear it) "Targets Without a Badge: Part 1" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9x6wATHHwo Highlights: 1:15 in. 4:16 in. 39:21 in. "Targets Without a Badge: Part II" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tXeW-ltDO0 Highlights: 29:53 in. 39:16 in. Faded in, so I suspect some of the opening was dropped from the episode. "Targets Without a Badge: Part III" By: Mark Snow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-xKMKB69wM Highlights: 1:16 in. The club source music. 8:51 in. 10:51 in. About 16:15 in. 29:02 in. 35:20/43:17 in. That short bit could open the cue; I like that short bit. "Starsky vs. Hutch" By: Shorty Rogers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgQE7shuGLw Highlights: About 40:30 in. The club source music. And the score cue that follows immediately. "Sweet Revenge" By: Alan Silvestri https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x77bo2g And Silvestri gets the honors of scoring the last episode of the series. Highlights: 1:16/6:56 in. 6:09 in. 19:03 in. 32:02 in. 34:02 in. Cut off early. 37:19 in. If any label was making sets of scoring from the show, to appeal to disco music fans and "CHiPs" scoring fans, I'd make a CD (if it all fits onto one disc) of just all the disco music. And that concludes the series. There were no TV movies. I will not be covering the remake film scored by Theodore Shapiro. Tomorrow I head back to the 1990's for a personal favorite TV series and personal favorite TV series scoring which I am probably the only person who wants to own the music from, but hopefully I can drum up some interest from other members!

"Nightlight" By: Shorty Rogers https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2pm5iy Highlights: 1:10 in. 2:49 in. The funky source music. 5:30/6:40/7:52 in. 13:26 in. 35:13 in. 41:00 in. Around 44:10/45:22/47:18 in.
