I was indeed saddened to learn of the passing of Rutger Hauer after a short illness. Whilst he was not your average 60million star he was undoubtedly a star performer. Very likeable actor and always entertaining. His films Blade Runner - Hobo with a Shotgun and Blind Fury which was really good will live in peoples memories. Another star who passed away recently was Jan MIchael Vincent who sadly got himself into a number of scrapes and the drugs and alcohol took their toll on him. I remember some 45yrs ago Jan Michael was a guest at the Carlton Cinema in Dublin to promote the Disney film The Worlds Greatest Athlete and its a shame that he is no longer with us. RIP Rutger and Jan Michael;.
