When I was 9, I wrote (dopey) fan letters to Erin Gray and Lis Sladen. Both sent replies. Gray's was a photocopy of her biography and two b&w photos. One was of her in "civilian" dress, gazing thoughtfully off in the distance. The other was of her in her Wilma Deering gear. Lis Sladen sent a 4x6 photo of herself during her Jon Pertwee sidekick days--complete with a personalized, handwritten autograph. So many of those 60's and 70's shows with great premise, set-up and actors, but just can't live up to their potential (the stories I mean). Forces tv had been going a while. Quite a lot of wartime documentaries. I used record a lot of Bilko a few years ago. The other one they show a lot of is gerry anderson's UFO. (There are 3 episides this saturday afternoon).
