I saw some folks posting about this score in another thread LLL thread. I was looking for info on the Gargoyles score again today, and noticed that composer Carl Johnson also has three clips from his score to Invasion America on his personal website.

You can check them out here:

"Action Montage", "Raithes Dies" and "Stealing the Shuttle"

Great music. I would love to see this out there one day, as well as Gargoyles of course!

His music for Piglet and some Pooh movies is really delightful.

Based solely on his superb work for Gargoyles and a bit of Batman TAS, I would buy anything of his in a similar orchestral vein.

Gargoyles that cartoon kicked so much ass. Sadly Invasion America never showed up in the UK to my knowledge (if it had it would've gone straight Saturday morning....

I watched the pilot last week, after reading about the score in another thread. And of course, it's Carl Johnson, so I took a chance.

The pilot ... terrible. Poorly written, with writing on a level of a person still a year or two into fan fiction; badly plotted, over all just lame, with bad voice acting, and boring. the "icing" on the cake is the generic chosen one cliché. I can't believe Speilberg attached his name to this.

So, the score ... orchestral, had some moments, but over all I found it un-engaging. Maybe there's more bits in the rest of the episodes, but it would require skimming for the music.
