THE MANDALORIAN---poster released for the Disney+ STAR WARS tv series.
COLOR OUT OF SPACE---new photo released of Nicolas Cage and Joely Richardson starring in the movie based on the HP Lovecraft novel in which a meteorite crashes near a small New England town and mutates all living things.
HALLOWEEN---co-writer Danny McBride commented on the status of the sequels KILLS and ENDS, “HALLOWEEN 2 starts filming in like three weeks. That’s already off to the races. The script is almost finished for the third one. Hopefully that’ll go at the same time next year.”
John Carpenter talked about returning to compose the two sequel scores, “I loved it, It was a lot of fun. And I’ll do the score, do a new score. That’s always fun… I’m on board. Let’s go. Everybody, after HALLOWEEN (2018) was a big hit, everybody said, ‘Oh, let’s do it again,’ So it was easy.”
SPIDER-MAN---condom company Durex tweeted its reply to Spider-Man no longer being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
DEVOLUTION---new Max Brooks (WORLD WAR Z) found-document novel about a bloody sasquatch attack on an isolated eco-community.
YELLOWSTONE---Dabney Coleman will play John Dutton Sr., the father of Kevin Costner's character, in the Season 2 finale.
UNCHARTED---director Dan Trachtenberg is no longer involved with the Sony Pictures movie starring Tom Holland. No details were released.
METRO 2033---movie underway based on the sci fi novel about a 2033 Moscow nuclear holocaust in which an underground survivor encounters mutants and the Fourth Reich.
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET---Robert Englund commented on his replacement to play Freddy Krueger if a remake is made, “The rumor I’ve heard that I like is Kevin Bacon. Kevin loves horror. He’s a real actor. He’s a character actor. We need someone like that to take it on, and redo it, and redo it exploiting all of the new technology.” Heather Langenkamp said earlier she would like to return for a possible remake.
SNAKE EYES---Andrew Koji (WARRIORS) will play Storm Shadow in the G.I. JOE spinoff movie.
DEEP BLUE SEA 3---Netflix is developing a second sequel to the 1999 Renny Harlin intelligent shark movie.
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW---Brandon Routh and his wife, Courtney Ford, are leaving the series after Season 5.
BALLERS---Dwayne Johnson announced Season 5 will be the last season.
BOOK OF ENCHANTMENT---Disney+ cancelled the series.
COWBOY BEHOP---Elena Satine will play Julia in the Netflix series.
TRIVIA---Christina Hendricks (MAD MEN) said she was the hand model for the AMERICAN BEAUTY movie poster, “Fun fact…. wait for it…I used to be a model and sometimes a hand model. This is my hand and another model’s stomach….proud to be a part if this film in ANY WAY!!!”
