Planet Of The Apes, Danny Elfman. It's really cheap, only a couple of pounds (whereas Elfman's The Wolfman & Dark Shadows are really expensive now). I'll probably just keep the main title on my ipod, it's an amazing track.

Casablanca (Steiner) Patton/Tora! Tora! Tora! (Goldsmith) Mulan (Goldsmith) Blood Diamond (Howard) Goldfinger Expanded (Barry) Diamonds Are Forever Expanded (Barry) Out Of Africa (Barry)
Fantastic line-up!
Right?!? I feel like I hit the jackpot with this group. Diamonds Are Forever was always my guilty pleasure favorite Connery/Bond film. I have fond memories of watching the library VHS when I was a kid and the score is kind of etched in my mind. It's so cool hearing it apart from the film for the first time and it sounds fantastic.
I'm a little disappointed in Casablanca because there is dialogue but the music is iconic.
I haven't sat down with Patton/TTT yet but I'm very familiar with both films and have high expectations.
Mulan is charming and fun. Classic Jerry Goldsmith for children's movies. I can see why there is a demand for an expanded release. It feels like he was really working hard on this project and it shows.
Goldfinger, I have heard many times before in various formats. It's great and this expansion sounds magnificent.
Have not listened to Blood Diamond or Out of Africa yet but both are on deck...

This is becoming more and more of a problem because as my collection grows, the time available for each release diminishes. A bit of a conundrum, somewhat similar to running faster and faster on a treadmill just to remain in place.
CDs: - Dennis The Menace - Jerry Goldsmith - The Beastmaster (complete) - Lee Holdridge - The Beastmaster 2 - Robert Folk - Mission Impossible - Danny Elfman - QBVII (Tadlow recording) - Jerry Goldsmith - The Tenant - Philippe Sarde - The Vietnam War - The Silk Road Ensemble
