Bit before my time but might be Bill when he's Wild - but not Sam.

If you recognize the lady the above choice is yours.

I will answer my own question. I guess so. Myron sure knows what he wants.

No, I'm here, as always. I just don't recognize the film. I know Bill and Myron, but Elliot must have made a hundred of these B or C westerns. I saw them all but still can't come up with it. Don't recognize the women either.

And it's good to have Angellio back.

You don't recognize the woman ? GREAT CAESAR'S GHOST ... it's a clue, man. She is still with us at 92. This much I will say, if the poster is accurate ,it is one of two possibilities.

OK ! Try this one on for size . She knew Joe McDoakes intimately.

The lady in the poster is the key and it will narrow it down to 2 films. Of course, only one will be correct. I'll make it easier...
It's a bird...it's a plane.

Hi Cody,
I actually got it before your last clue. I did finally recognize her. I'm pretty sure you're referring to Phyllis Coates, and if I'm right it narrows it down to four: Topeka, The Longhorn, the Maverick and Fargo. Myron Healey was in The Longhorn, Fargo, and The Maverick. Not sure where to go from there.

My compliments to you, mgh. I think we can eliminate TOPEKA because of the absence of MH. And I overlooked THE LONGHORN. So now it looks like we are in a " box canyon" smile so to speak with 3 to choose from. I think that's darn good for a genre like b-westerns which produced so many films into 1954. I'll let you guess first so you will have 2 chances to be right if necessary. I wish I could recognize the men on horses.

I'm going to do a little more looking, and if I do figure it out, I will guess in the form of a clue. I think if you've got a good idea, you should go ahead. The clues are fun.

mgh, I think I recognize one of the riders. Here's my clue which boils it down to 2 films. Bus driver for cowpoke and a stripper.

It's probably MM's most endearing role.

OK, since there are no takers I'll say the title is one word that won an Oscar for an actress 44 years later. Chicken hearted,am I right or wrong ?

Well, I think you are right. I compared the shirt and bandana he is wearing in the above poster to one from the film, and I think they match.

Can't wait to get the actual title, because I'm now completely lost... I thought I had nailed it and gave a somehow "singing" clue based on part of its title.

But now I've got serious doubts...
