Happy 35th Anniversary, Miami Vice! It's today!
The series ran for five seasons on NBC from September 16, 1984 to January 25, 1990.

Any news about the complete score release by Jan Hammer or/and Tim Truman ? frown

Zero news. And don't forget John Petersen. Did a good job in season 4.

I'm sure a more extensive set is called for in this case, with all the non-Hammer composers represented, but let's not forget what we already have. There are the individual MV soundtracks -- some great songs here. Plus Hammer's superb 2CD set, which got me through my thesis back in 2001-2004.

Here we are a couple of weeks ago after a performance of OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS (for which I grew the whiskers).

Three years to write your thesis?!

Please ask her if she's familiar with this track:

I sent her the track. This was Saundra's reply:

"This was the 'love' theme for Gina and Crockett, which they never got right story wise, but Jan's music was great!""

Well the release is legit.
Whether it's a fake I don't know.
Are you saying it's a boot because of the low price?

There were a few articles published in honor of the occasion.
They basically repeated the same.old stories from the 30th anniversary articles.
None of them cited my " ground breaking' article, " Vices Verses" published in FSM Magazine
Goddamn lazy ' journalists!

I'm not sure if I am remembering this correctly.
There was some sort of issue about whether or not the legit copies had a barcode on the back?
Or maybe something stamped into the matrices?

The description in the ebay listing says it's a CD-R, though.

I took a quick look over at Discogs.
It is probably the "unofficial" Ruskie release, or some new variant thereof.

My mistake, not boot but CD-R copy. Looking at some of the other listings, including those in the $100 range, they list them as a CD-R too. Is this accurate or is it eBay just doing a blanket designation.

In other words, is it legit, because I want it.

It's a copy of the original. I've bought items like this from sellers.
So, if you want it, but iy
